I'm thinking of choosing this one over the Surface Laptop 5 mainly because it's more portable 12.45". Can you please tell me how the battery life is? I plan on using it outdoors a lot.
Yes, I would. I'm still enjoying it and recently added a third monitor to my desk which it runs without issue, so I'm quite happy with it. The only downside I've noticed is the lack of lighting for the keys which is only a minor issue at times when I'm hosting a trivia game and it's particularly dark in the bar.
@@ProductImpressions Keys aren't an issue for me based on my usage. My main concern is that I can't find many valid reviews here in India. Additionally, the screen size matters because I'm currently using a Tab S6 Lite with a screen size of around 10 inches, and I don't want my laptop to be around that size.
@@obsidiansands I haven't had a need to use zoom whole traveling, but it has been perfectly good role at home. The difference with traveling will be more related to the Internet connection quality.
this is currently 559$ on amazon. do u recommend? i am looking for a fast but portable laptop in which i can run some data analytics software. could it handle this?
@@ProductImpressions there is a setting where you can vertically flip the screen display, so you can use a surface pen easily if you place the screen on desk (almost like an iPad, tablet, etc) and have it facing towards yourself so the keyboard doesn't get in the way :)
Thank you for your review) Good job and big help) Take care)
Awesome review! I was in the market for a new laptop and this convinced me. I especially liked the comparison to the HP laptop. Nice job!

I am tempted to get this, but how good is this for video calls like Zoom, Facebook Messenger, etc while travelling?

@@ProductImpressions great. Thanks
Can you use surface pen?
There is a touchscreen, so you should be able to, but it doesn't fold down flat, so that may complicate trying to use a pen.
nope
