    The tour was organised by Alison Thomas & Nick James. Long standing members and experienced tour organisers, within the membership of the www.pemc.co.uk
    In total, there were 25 fellow motorcycle members of the UK motorcycling club on this trip. The PEMC club has over 300 members, mostly based in the UK, who enjoy a wide variety of well-priced events and trips based around the UK & Europe.
    ------------------------------
    THE COST - Bear in mind that the PEMC motorcycle club is non-profit, so, there are no ‘Guide’ rider or back-up vehicle costs.
    The cost was per person for 13 nights Dinner, B&B.
    Single Room £1,700
    Sharing Room £1,300
    (Excluding Eurotunnel cost from UK to France, lunches, fuel etc).
    ------------------------------
    Episode 2 covers the following -
    Day 5 ~ Covers my ride South from Publier, on the shore of Lake Geneva and into the Alps, via the Jaun, Grimsell, Furka & St. Gotthard Passes before dropping into the Swiss town of Airolo and our wonderful Hotel Forni.
    Day 6 ~ I now head South-West from Airolo in Switzerland via the sweeping and twisting Nufenen Pass before heading onward to the stunning Simplon Pass. Our accommodation tonight, is the Hotel Rendez-Vous, offering panoramic views over Italian village of Aymavilles and beyond.
    It looks great on a Smart TV, as it has been filmed in HD.

    Very enjoyable that was Paul! The bit after Jaun (apparently pronounced Jawn - as in Yawn with a j. Who knew.) brought back the passes ridden Alps with Attitude tour, when we stayed in Weggis 👍

      Thanks for the Jawn tip. Glad you liked the reminder of those Passes from our previous trip, which was amazing and still, the greatest number of views on my channel. All the best.👍

    Another great video, love riding first thing when the roads are empty and the temperature cool, not soo keen when it gets up to 32 and slow traffic with roundabouts but you need to have someway of joining up the great roads 😊

      Hi David, yup, a cool, low traffic start to a ride is always great. Sometimes it’s sun in one Pass and I’ve been soaked (in the past) on the next Pass. It’s called… Touring!😂 thanks for the comments. Paul.

    Triumph have lost that lovely triple sound with this new Tiger.

      I know, I know. It’s not a sweet sound, although it sounds ok when I stick a rear cam on and use that audio.

    Paul. Did you have to buy a vignette when you entered Switzerland ? Cracking video as usual.😊

    • @YarroMoto
      @YarroMoto  5 місяців тому +1

      Hi Keith, I didn't, as I understand that you only need a vignette using the motorways and I knew I would be entering/leaving 'Airolo' on side roads via Passes. If I'm generally riding through Switzerland, I buy a vignette to cover myself and to save the grief of a fine, if I'm pushed onto a motorway unexpectedly because of a Deviation or something!

    As with some of your previous films Paul, I am enjoying trying to spot changes like the new car park and making comparisons with my memories of the area when I travelled through there more than 32 years ago. The photo I use for my UA-cam account was taken up the Simplon Pass in 1991. Even though it was July I remember there was lots of snow around.🏔️

    • @YarroMoto

      Thank you for your memories of that area and the changes. Glad to hear you enjoyed watching and I hope to keep your interest. Ep3 is more of the same in glorious weather👍

    Great trip , was it the hydraulic clutch ? . 👍

    • @YarroMoto

      I think so, but it hasn’t played up since I adjusted at the clutch lever end. Glad you enjoyed the trip Colin👍

      @@YarroMoto that's good news . I am interested in this bike and I am keen to know the problems as well as the positives . Maybe get the dealer to check if clutch needs bleeding . Looking forward to the next episode .

      @YarroMoto  5 місяців тому +1

      @@colin9967 Colin, the clutch has been the only issue, which delayed my original collection by a few days, when Triumph had initiated a clutch part change. It's booked in for an annual service in May, so will get them to check it then...assuming it gets me that far! Loads of positives for me but guess it's down to your height etc. Screen is perfect for me on motorways, no buffeting at all. Definitely lighter and more chuckable...when I haven't got the suitcases onboard! I always advise anyone looking to change bike, to use reviews as a guide but it's what suits YOU!. Narrow down to 3 bike choices and try to ride them back2back on the same day to compare, if poss. This approach has provided some surprising results, but it's saved me from some £???? mistake. Let me know what you decide to buy. Paul.

    • @colin9967
      @colin9967 5 місяців тому +1

      @@YarroMoto Thanks Paul , I am 6' tall , so I usually have problems with buffeting but lots of positive reviews from tall riders on that score .
      I bought a street triple rs last year purely on the basis I loved the look of it . The heart says yes please , the body says no thanks ! . I won't purchase another bike without a test ride . I have a deposit down on a tiger GT pro and rally pro with a test ride first to see what I think , but since triumph have offered the Tiger 1200 with 2k off , the price difference is too narrow to make any possible compromises on the 900's worth the small saving . Cheers for any info from anybody 👍

    • @YarroMoto
      @YarroMoto  5 місяців тому +1

      @@colin9967 As you may have read elsewhere, I'm 5'11", so your height should be perfect for the GT Pro screen. I didn't need the little extra flip screen that you can add to the top lip of it. Just test and decide for yourself though. Sounds like a great deal off a new 1200 and the extra bhp is nice. I haven't tested the latest version of the 900 GT Pro, but I personally found the wind noise on the first iteration of the 900 horrendous. As previously mentioned on film, they both still sound like a 'bag of spanners' though! 😂
