Very helpful tips. I've never heard of packing cubes, magic leaves or pegless washing lines before. Thanks for enlightening me. I was wondering if you'd ever tried putting Puncture Safe in your tyres. I've found it to be very effective and it fixes the puncture as soon as it happens. Thanks again for the tips.

Hi mate thanks for the comment glad you found the video useful 👍Never tried puncture safe the KTM has tyre pressure monitoring any kind of liquid tyre repair would damage the sensors. Thanks for watching J&S 👍👍🏍🏍

It’s sounds silly but it’s little things that can make things a bit easier so we thought it was worth sharing with everyone Thanks for watching 👍🏍

Great insight into the way you tour.
I've got the same puncture repair kit as you guys, and can confirm it works.
Thanks for the tip on the washing sheets. I always used hotel soap or my body wash, but I'll look into them for my next trip.
One thing I've always liked to see how people plan a tour?
Just go and wing it or book every day accommodation before you even set off?
    Thx
    G.

Hi mate to answer your question we book all our accommodation in advance it restricts the route but like we said in the video you can pick the hotels that are suitable for you secure parking facilities and it works for us as a couple Joanne likes her creature comforts 😀👍🏍

@@jsmotorcyclediaries1290 I've done that before too. My dilemma is I'd like to try and wing it one day, but I've always been organised so I struggle to change.
      😁

Hi mate I’ve winged for a week twice before once with a few of my mates and another time with my son on the back. To be honest it works both ways we never struggled to find places to stay you just don’t have the luxury of knowing what the hotels will be like 👍

Hi there, because I have small feet I found it hard to find boots to fit my calf’s so I got ankle boots - I have Alpine Star Stella Faster-3(drystar) I found them really comfortable on and off the bike, ideal to walk in and a bonus they were waterproof,
      Hope this helps,
      Thanks for watching,

If you think a disc lock will do jack shmitt to stop a thief, or that flimsy cable… Honestly daft. One solid blow with a hammer and your bike is gone, vs 1 proper lock. It isn’t a deterrent if it’s that easily defeated. And yes, a van will get it gone regardless - but that’s not standard M.O. and you know it.

Hi mate thanks for the comment like we said in the video our strategy with regards security is more to deter someone trying to steal our stuff and to think more about where we park the bike I get your point about the wire but it’s better than just leaving your helmet with nothing which you see a lot of people doing abroad. Like I said in the video this is our strategy to park in safe places take our valuables with us off the bike and try to deter as best we can but great to have your opinion 👍🏍

Found that you're more likely to have your bike nicked in the UK than the rest of Europe. Did a 12 country trip this summer, and asked by a foreign rider why did I have so much security. He was right. A simple disc lock did the job.

Yep the world is not full of bad people mate and you’re right riders in Europe don’t seem to worry about security in the same way. Thanks for the comment
