I have small ears and these fit great, no issues listening for hours at a time. The sound is pure sonic goodness. I’m treble sensitive and these extend well without any fatigue.
You explain sound the best among many reviewers. You always managed to describe the key characteristics, instead of running down the list: the bass, the mids, the treble bla bla bla. Kudos! And thank you!
7Hz is inreed timeless. I rock it on FiiO LC-RE Pro 2022 cable, with Penon Liquer Orange eartips. They love some power and pair realy great with my Onix XI1 dongle DAC. ❤
i got both the Kato and the Timeless, and i have to say that the difference is actually very big between those two. It really comes down to own preference. The Timeless are very addicting and switching back and forth between the Kato and Timeless the Kato sound very muddy. What i personally look for his a highly detailed textured IEM. So the timeless is definitely more for me than the Kato.
Love your suggestion for purchase. "If you have A, should you get B?" It scratches my curiosity itch and saves me money. Many times I've gotten something different, it's usually a side grade rather than an upgrade. Thanks for making that clear.
Instantly subscribed your channel! After a long time, I found out someone who really knows how to describe an earphone, and what are it's key characteristics. Also the way you compared these earphone, was really very enlightening and to the point. You really know what your audience really wants and what are their expectations from an audio device. Very nice review..
You mentioned a Nenad Vasilic album called 'Bass Room'. As a fellow connoisseur of the bass I had to check it out. Listening to it now and I'm blown away! Looking forward to your other recommendations!
Nice review....as a settled 7hz timeless user here are my thoughts which might help.....these are very sensitive to tips...finally i settled on spinfit cp145 no edgy or peaky at all and the bass feels more body/slam. Then these also dependent on DACs to pair..when paired with Tempotec sonata E44 balanced...no dry at all...excellent dynamics 3d etc.
Thanks for your review for making my choice better as I had the KATO and thinking what would be a better between the Timeless and the Bravery to add in my collection, it seems the Bravery is the better choice in my case in this review. Thanks for your awesome vid and to your future vids.
I think the reviewer GF must have thought that he bought her a gift….jewelry perhaps Hugh?? Thank you once again for a great review of three highly regarded reasonably priced IEM’s. Dave from The Honest Audiophile came to the same sound signature conclusion when comparing the 7hz vs Kato.
Excellent review! Do you think the moondrop blessing 2 is a considerable upgrade over these 3, the timeless, Kato and bravery? Specially in terms of soundstage and clarity? Thank you very much!!!
Unfortunately I haven't heard Blessing 2 so can't say anything about those. There are so many good models lately that's just impossible for me to get them all.
I have blessing 2 and timeless 7hz, while 7hz plays more naturally, blessing 2 has problems with low mids, and because of this, the sound in this range loses its naturalness. Yes, blessing 2 looks more detailed, because they are less V-shaped, but in general 7hz play more naturally and it is pleasant to listen to them for a long time, in the Crinacle ratings I would swap them (namely, the assessment for tonal balance)
Very good review as always! I prefer your advice and trust what you are saying. I'm debating which iem to get I like the timeless but many others have come out since. Are they still a relevant purchase?
Timeless seems to have reliability issues. One of my buds is loosing contact and I am not the only one to experience that. I suggest looking at my Hidizs MD4 review.
Happy New Year, wish you the best!💫Thanks a lot for all your reviews, they're really honest, professional, and awesome! Keep it up! If you don't mind I have a couple of questions. How do these iems reproduce vocals? I'll explain. I used Dan Clark Aeon 2 closed-back headphones so the voices sounded like a step or two behind you and it was a problem to me cause I prefer vocals one or two steps in front. So what about 7hz Timeless? Because I listen to a lot of UA-cam, podcasts, and tv shows so my main priority is to hear natural, clear, warm, well-articulated, and pleasant voices without any sibilance. Would you tell me please which Moondrop Kato or 7hz Timeless is my cup of tea? Or maybe there is something better? Budget is not a problem up to $500. Thanks!
Hey man What an insanely great review. I have cca ca16 and i had that awful fiio f9 pro before. Do you think this will be a great upgrade/next level for me? It's a little bit more expensive in my region ~$246 are they still worth it for that price? Also im really concerned with mmcx quality as i had really bad luck with that f9 pro and its shitty build quality of mmcx are all mmcx same? I had 0 issues with qdc connector on the cca.
I just moved to the Philippines this year. Where do you get your gear? I ordered mostly from Amazon when I lived in the US. I wasn't worried about taking chances on gear because returns were easy enough. I probably don't have that flexibility here in the Philippines, but I am looking for dealers with reasonable shipping costs and delivery times.
@@iiWiReviews woah seems like we cant have both worlds. I wonder how much detail difference do they have. What is important to me is clarity, like non congestive sound even with busy tracks, separation of instruments and long enjoyable listen without sacrificing the details. Doesnt have to be ultra detailed just everything in balance. Hearing almost if not all. Had the isn h40s before at around 200usd and got dissapointed by the midbass overpowering the rest of the frequency. While the nm2plus sounded too aggressive and kinda metallic in timbre also poor in over all technicalities for the price imo.
If NM2+ sound aggressive to you then I believe you might have better chance of being happy with Kato. They do not lack details but are not aggressive either. Two sets of nozzles for additional tuning is also a plus.
could you please reply whetther passive speaker like qaccoustic 3020ior other speakers need pre-amp before it is connected to power amp like Smsl AO200?? Whether all power amp includes in built DAC?? or is it necessary to connect power amp with DAC for playing music??
No they don't. AO200 is actually an integrated amp, meaning it has a volume control already built in, so you don't need any preamp with it. Moreover, AO200 also has a DAC and digital USB input, so you also don't need a DAC. That said, this Integrated DAC is not of a great quality, so you might want to upgrade to a decent external DAC somewhere down the road. But that's up to you.
@@iiWiReviews thnx for replying. Anyways, could you say one more thing that a passive speaker having rated power output @4ohm 100 watt per channel can handle amplifier with out put 4ohm 200 watt per channel or 4ohm 90 watt per channel??
The deep base will sacrifice the highs.......I miss some drum ride cymbal hits, but in return you get some killer warm popping kick bass......Timeless are pretty incredible !
In terms of sheer amount of details - yes it can, if not even more detailed in upper frequencies. But big cans such as Verum 1 have weight, kick, and tone timbre that these just can't match. Everything sounds bigger and bolder. But once you adjust to that in-ear sound that is smaller in scale, they do offer awesome fidelity for the money.
i waiting for another random IEM that annihilate the audio industry once again! maybe something that cost 400USD sound like or better than world's best IEM at 3000USD. i wish its x2 better than 7 hertz timeless wow! literally x2 better not with the Marketing strategy or what so ever.... 😂

Thanks - I have small ears and I was worried.

im so happy i found this album!
Finally a review I can understand . Thank you
Very fair review. According to me, Timelless is a planar B2 Dusk - a bit less refined but more lively, detailing and better staging.

nice review...plzzzzz review IKKO OH10 as well...you will surely love those, even better than 7hz and kato..

I was thinking of these …but I went with the KATO as a Christmas gift for my wife.
I’ll consider these later on .
Great review and best of the 🎄🍻
Christmas gift for the wife, he says. Yeh, you ain't foolin anybody.
@@gerritfridericksohn4627 Got Crin’s Midnight’s and HBB’s Olina 🥳
Super great advice and very good review, first time seeing your material. I have the Timeless.
Sedna Xelastec ML earbuds were a game changer with these
Awesome earphones! The case even has its own defence mechanism to ensure that no one touches them.
😂😂😂
Very nice descriptions.. but cold You comment them with IKKO OH 10... Thank You !

Thanks for answering the question in the first 10 seconds
Thank you! Which one would you suggest for Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin music style.
If I already have Aria and I want an upgrade and nice complement... Should I go for Kato or Timeless?
I would probably go for Timeless for a little change and very lively and revealing sound.
Excellent descriptions and comparations ... but I badly miss comparation with the IKKO OH 10 ... so please could You comment it as well.
Thank You!
Thanks, but I haven't heard OH10 so can't comment on those.

I'm very curious about the other 7 Hertz with 10mm dinamic driver and a spiral cavity, called i-88.
Does a good DAC dongle such as HIDIZS S9 PRO make it sound better?
I'm guessing you mean compared to a direct connection to the PC or a phone... Yes it does make it sound better, more details, more energy...
Please compare them to the FiiO x Crinacle FHE:Eclipse !

Thanks! From Serbia, that's the Southeast Europe, just outside of the EU boarders. 😄
It's a Match ! 7hz Timeles with Hidizs S9 Pro
Nice review there! Very direct and helpful. Upgrading from nm2plus which one would suit better, the kato or timeless
This is a matter of personal taste. Would you prefer fuller and smoother sound (Kato) or more detailed but also dryer (Timeless)?
