Honestly I am happy that adventurers are added, but we need so much more quest. Now usually the quests involve just a scheme(basically just waiting) and than execution, and you get some events where you can extra advantages etc. I wish there could be complete questlines, with bigger effects, more duels, etc. Currently the only adventurer worth playing is Herewald, his quests are pretty cool.
Adventurer is good but needs some work. I wanted more ways of influencing the world around me without being landed. Allow me to start religious, cultural, and peasant uprisings WITHOUT becoming landed in the end. It seems as though the game wants you to become landed instead of giving you options for the way ahead. In the first playthrough, I wanted to roleplay the Knights of Templar, being a Catholic mercenary group focused on the expansion of the religion in Iberia. Then, spreading the faith from the peninsula to the holy land Jerusalem. I figured out how to convert the faith of counties as a landless character and was excited to start a Catholic rebellion. Unfortunately, after I realized the war would end with me being landed and the destruction of the camp, I had spent 180 years building up my excited wore off. Why not allow me to appoint my house or dynasty member to the land I had won and allow me to continue being landless? Yes, I can become landed, then become an adventurer again, but again, this will come at the destruction of your camp. I'll have a good amount of gold to start with, but the buildings and men at arms are expensive. I think landless needs a bit more polishing, but I'm glad in the end to have it in the game.❤
