**HEADPHONE WARNING!!!** Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to RWBY Vol. 9, ep 6!!!! WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys, I get why I had to avoid spoilers like the plague now, WOW!!!! Lots of big stuff going on here, from Jaune explaining the real situation of Alyx and the Cat, to Crescent Rose, to.....THE KISS!!!!!!!!! A lot of us have been waiting a LONG TIME for this!!! Rejoice, Bmblbys!!! Also, now that we know the tree isn't really a way to get out per se....how do we get out?! DO we get out?! Jaune hasn't....!!! So many questions, but wow what an ep!!! Great ep! "They hurt us, and then they gave us a present" - so the pain comes again :D The cat even said at one point "The others were more interesting" or something like that. The cat has a way with words, that's for sure :)

I love the timing of aged Jaune appearing in the intro right as you're talking about him not being there.
What makes Jaune even more tragic is that now he has most likely spent more of his life in the Ever After than in Remnant.
I still couldn’t believe it when the build up started happening. Feels surreal now after all this time.

The fact that when Ruby passes the waterfall her reflection is Summer. We’re getting so much Summer bits and pieces! We have to actually get a huge Summer thing in the last four episodes, right?
That little musical cue from the last scene of V8 when Weiss is looking at Atlas falling.
Lewis seems to be a reference to the author of Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll.
“I couldn’t even be the make believe hero.” Yikes.
Been waiting years for this moment. Even a week later, I’m still reeling and crying from the confession. I’m still so giddy and happy every time I think about it or watch this scene and it’s crazy that we’re finally here. These two have been through so much and it’s just… this confession was so sweet and wonderful. Eric Reacts put it best I think: “They found their happiness in Ever After.”
You probably know this by now, but the song playing during the confession is called Worthy and Casey said it’s a BMBLB pt 2. The wins keep coming.
Ruby not wanting to take Crescent Rose back is definitely a metaphor for Ruby denying herself. After Ruby said in V1 that weapons were an extension of them. There’s also a neat parallel with Yang when Tai presented her with her new prosthetic and Yang didn’t want/wasn’t ready for it at first.
all the flowers make me think of 'their' song. :P 'there's a garden...'

The confession scene set a ew standard for romance in my mind, it was so triumphant and loving and beautiful!
I would keep in mind tat from Alyx's perspective Jaune would likely be pretty damn freaky, this strange guy who knows way too much about her, who tries to micromanage her escape from this alien realm, there's a lot we didn't see.
Also the only other person from her world but from the future

So many people seemed to miss a small detail. The liquid mirrors seem to show whats on a persons mind. Right after the “how can the story be real and not real” line Ruby walks in front of one. Her reflection is not herself

Heh, it's funny. In an earlier chapter Weiss says something like: "Alix was just trying to survive. Those old stories are so simplistic". I thought that was a bit of a thoughtless answer, and now it sounds like she wasn't just the innocent protagonist. Looking forward to seeing where they go with it, but they better get a move on.
I don't think Jaune is going to get his youth back. Learning to live with your scars has been a recurring motif, not least in the hallucinations from the herbalist.
On the upside, Ren and Nora get a father figure?

You know there are four relics right, made by the two brothers. Jin and Ambrious made by the brother of light, and two made by the brother of dark. Notice the color scheme of the cat, and that the Beacon relic is considered safe according to Ozpin? I don't think ever after would be a story if there was no point to it other than Ruby's PTSD and Blake and Yang's kiss.
as best as we can tell, it was entirely light's idea to send Ozma back, and light produced and placed all the relics. If dark participated, to what degree is completely unknown and behind the scenes.
@@jeffreysmith236 With the introduction of new lore, the brothers and the cats creation. It kind of pincushions most of my statement. Hopefully we will get a grander picture in V10. I do hope team RWBY or at least Ruby will get to converse or interact with the brothers in some fashion at some point.
Ozpin will probably end up being extremely worried when Ruby and the other girls tell him about their adventures in the never after
@@69gamer06 in the least, he will question his beliefs of what he felt he knew. Unless Ruby and gang choose to give him a vanilla version like they did with Ironwood in previous Volumes. I sure do hope we will not have the kind of wait we had to get V9.

At best, that's called BDSM.
I think the biggest issue I have with Bumblebee here is that it now makes 3 out of the 4 main partner pairings that are romantically involved. You've got Jaune and Pyrrha, Ren and Nora, and now Blake and Yang. Once Ruby's fixed and Weiss has some time to relax, how are they going to feel being the odd ones out, especially since it still doesn't even really feel like their friendship has recovered from their separation after volume 3?
10 years they have been mulling over a way to get the definition of a mid ship to be oficial and the best they came upp with was literaly building a brige to connect them. This is unironicaly something Kojima would write but this "show" hasn't earned the pass for such pretentious writing. Stay classy guys.
