    @RewardHerDouble Amen to that, my friend. I will survive with my family no matter what. You are correct in saying that I am a survivor, and that cities are nothing more than a cage. My wife and children are the same way. No matter how far down the tube this country gets, I will live on and teach my children to do the same. Thank you for the kind words. May God bless you in all that you do.

    Almost speechless. A true “HERO” strives to be the best at no-matter what he does. Popcorn was a true American Folk Hero and Artisan. I love the way they gave up some time to that young girl. She sounded good. Hope she goes somewhere.
    They didn’t kill him. They only made him stronger! That’s his heart beat in the thump tank! RIP Popcorn, the nosey ones get the pitchfork!

    Thanks for your reply , i have done more research of Popcon's thump barrel and you can use either your tails or use some of your wash you made but not water, also the part of the thumper is to act as a second run , although u run it only once , so it acts as a second distillation process and up your alc vol by about 25% by the looks of it. I went on Google images to get info on a thump keg and their is also usefull info about what a thump keg actually does.Thanks again for your reply.

    Breeds other crime like what? D.U.I.'s which happen every day from people buying liquor from the state store. That's ok though because the state gets their cut. I'm not saying moonshine should be legal because there are alot of idiots out there that make shit that will kill people. Popcorn Sutton however was a known moonshiner for years and it was known that he made quality liquor. The kind he would drink and test himself. What they did to that man was an injustice. Should've left him alone.

    @human666hater No problem. I saw a little over half of this was posted online and I was PISSED. Everyone who believes in knowing the prohibition era, the 20th century, and how far this nation has come, and then fallen since Uncle Sam took over with taxation and control, should see this. Education is the key to history. American History is the key to improving the government, as well as our rights, therefore, improving our great nation. I fought for FREEDOM. Not prohibition.

  • @TomRock81
    @TomRock81 12 років тому

    Our justice system needs an overhaul. Most of all COMMON SENSE should be applied. The people that make the laws use words you can't even find in dictionaries to give themselves an edge. Being a police officer I basically have to be part lawyer and laws are constantly being updated to give us the edge on the public. That's why I use my discretion whenever possible. I do believe in the system but it does fail sometimes. I believe that common sense would cause the system to fail less. My opinion.

Popcorn is a great example of the American spirit....in spite of the govt...thats the way it should be.

    They made him feel like a cornered animal. He should be alive today enjoying his retirement. Instead he took his own life, it took him taking his own life for his liquor to become legal. There is something in law enforcement that we use that's called "discretion" it's a shame Popcorn wasn't afforded any. The last time I checked he didn't hold anyone down and force the alcohol down anyones throat. Casey Anthony gets off for killing her toddler but this man at 68 is sentenced to almost 2 years.

  • @silverado669
    @silverado669 13 років тому

    @WildlifeSeriaLKiller agreed brother. Double taxation is BULLSHIT. Think of how many times a sheet of paper is taxed. From the property the tree was grown on, cutting and selling it. Buying it. Processing it. Producing the paper. Then buying it at the store. BULLSHIT. The raw material is bought and sold and taxed like 9 times. Freedom is a thing of the past.

    Another note to make is that I would be willing to bet that in the same woods that he made his moonshine there where 10 others making methamphetamine. The county can't be that big so the resources would have to be limited. I think it's a crime alone that LE resources where used to investigate Popcorn when there are much more important issues at hand. The judge that sentenced Popcorn was no doubt trying to send a message, he failed. Not only did he fail but he should be ashamed of himself.

  • @sharpie443
    @sharpie443 13 років тому

    Man I wish I could do that. I've been making beer for almost 10 years but I've always wanted to make liquor just once. I don't even like hard alcohol but I do like making things and I'd just like to say I did it. To bad it's illegal here.

But I guess the THOUSANDS of jars of likker he produced and the people who bought it that are perfectly healthy can't attest to that, right? It isn't but a few cents more than LEAD solder and it's MADE FOR COPPER TUBING... Fuck me running with a hot iron skillet.
