So I dug out my Zoom MS50G pedal. there's two effects in it that can do the detune effect even better than the Mooer Pitch Box. Wish I had of remembered that before buying this thing.
That’s what’s bad about buying those mooer donner type pedals. You have to hope it’s not a lemon. For the most part they have been good enough with a little pop in the on and off. But Digitech ,zoom ,boss all have a slight detune available.
His signal back then and even on his latest tours was not just wet/dry. It was wet/dry/wet. And in the 90s he did use the Eventide. He pitch shifted one side sharp, the other side flat.
I just ordered the Hotone Harmony. It pretty much does the same thing as the Mooer Pitch Box..with slight differences. I'm hoping I can do this with the Harmony, as well. Should work. I researched it. On the Mooer Pitch Box in Detune mode, the knob changes 5 cents each click, so -2 is the same as -5 cents. On the Hotone Harmony in Detune mode, the knob works the same, but the numbers range from 1-24, and it doesn't have negatives. But, in Detune, 6 is 0. So, putting it on 4 should detune it 10 cents...the same as the Pitch Box on -2. And the Hotone Harmony is about half the price, and half the size as the Mooer Pitch Box lol. Hotones are great quality, as well.
