I used a very similar build for my Apocalypse run! I love the misty dodge mechanic I focused my build around lifesteal and ranged damage from Nightfall while maintaining a high uptime on Dreadwalker.
7:56 Instead of using the Full Moon Circlet, I’m using the Necklace of Flowing Life. It heals the Grey Heath faster and gives you 5x the amount of mod power.
I know this is controversial opinion , but i think this game is harder than Darksouls i started a character on veteran diffeculty hunter , but i was never able to get past the first world i hit a wall with the astropath boss its weird because in darksouls a lot of the bosses have more complex attack patterns than in this game , but think what makes this game harder is that the enemies and the bosses are way more agressive since its a looter shooter and of course all the modifiaction buffs the bosses have. I was able to beat and finish the souls games many times , but in this one i struggle so i decided to swallow my pride and start on survivor diffeculty with a gunslinger and just treat it like diablo when one diffeculty gets way too easy i move up the foodchain;).
Great news, this survived the update today! I recommend swapping points from Regrowth (keep 1 point in regrowth) to Siphoner. It dramatically helps to compensate from the fire rate loss on Nightfall. I am wondering if there may be a better long gun to use now.
Although the ring of omens is a lot of fun some people might also not enjoy the constant HP cost of it. A good alternative for this is the "bright steel ring" it basically always gives you the best dodge roll (low equipment weight roll). Solid build regardless I just felt like adding that ring as an alternative which is also quite easy to get (Reggie sells it, I am not sure on the criteria needed to get him to sell it)
@@SakariasLonghorn No, you're thinking of the bisected ring, which gives infinite stamina at the cost of -25% DR. The Bright Steel Ring literally gives you a light roll (with the associated stamina penalties) at whatever encumbrance you want.
@@xTiddi Yeah I assume a lot of the accesories that are meant to keep you alive with regens/grey health regens etc can be replaced into something else if you use the bright steel ring.
I do have a melee themed one for it where it just sets the free ring to the Burden of the Gambler and its just a medium crit styled build for it and you can easily hit about 1900 damage on a powerattack crit and swap another ring for the Ring that gives 30%crit

I swapped off Bright Steel ring for this setup and can confirm it works a lot better and is much more forgiving in Apocalypse. I also swapped out Black Cat Band for Fae Shaman Ring for extra health regen and 25% faster relic use
Its a well put together build and video. Sadly though alot of us are restricted due to the bloody bug thats preventing vendors from selling us new equipment
I've seen a solution for that which is to go through another playthrough solo & offline, and you need to reach the final boss checkpoint as in before you meet the guardian and clementine again before the final boss fight, reach that checkpoint and quickly teleport back to ward 13. I've tried it myself and it works. tldr: 1. Reroll campaign to any difficulty of your liking, go offline and play solo. 2. Breeze through every world, just focus on main quest and world boss. 3. Reach the final world, do your best to get through the boss called Venom. 4. Reach the next checkpoint and teleport back to ward 13. You can also see all the other vendors will sell what they were supposed to sell.

Great video, will try out that build. I was just wondering if you could do a similar one for the HC mode? Seeing as the build has an item needed from HC mode and most will probably struggle to get through that. Would be helpful if you’d have any walkthroughs with regards to class and items to pick early for the HC mode
i am really not sure. anything that improves damage i suppose, but nothing that would really replace/substitute what the provisioner ring gives to the build. You will just have to reload weapons instead. It should still be good, but needing to reload will definitely lower DPS.
1:09 I’ve been testing it for a while but it appears the 20% mod dmg is bugged and don’t work, unless it just wasn’t working for me, however, the 25% extra generation I know works regardless
Have we figured out what triggers Blood moons yet? My buddy said its a timer but i don't know. Warping in and out doesn't seem to work (and eventually crashes my game)
This was sort of what I had in mind as an end game build but with Gunslinger for the raw damage output passives and the fire rate increase on bullet storm before using dreadwalker. This looks a million times safer than what I theory crafted and is up there with potential of DPS. I'll probably switch to this if my GS version doesnt work out on Apoc difficulty. thanks for the videos.
Bright steel ring is a better option. It ignores encumbrance entirely with no down side. You always do max dodge roll as if you are naked. This will also mean you don't need fitness freeing up 10 trait points.
@@reregfys7169 yes, however personally i prefer this to losing a chunk of my health since i plan to use this type of build for a hc apoc run, and if it's a concern you can also use the weightless weight which gives speed and stamina cost reduc buffs. However, this means you are sacrificing the lifesteal from the moon circlet.
the full moon circlet gives 20% boost to damage at full hp. When you are almost always using the lifesteal mod on nightfall this is very often the case. Not sure how fast roll from bright steel ring compares to misty step, need to test that!
i hear a lot about the provisioner's ring but no one seem to answer my one question, by going for it in the build wouldn't that make this a hardcore only build or am I missing something?
once you unlock the provisioner ring at Reggie, it will be available for purchase on all characters. The unlock is account-wide. This goes for all campaign/difficulty completion rewards.

Yes and yes. The unlocks from hardcore are account-wide and are accessible on softcore characters. For the second question, so long as you are there for the boss kill it should count.
Great build and guide but, unfortunately, one I'll never piece together. The hardcore items wreck this for me, I'm stuck on PC5 while friends are on PC (my PC is too old). There's no way I'm good enough to do hardcore solo :(

I am running this build right now and liking it up, noticed a interaction / bug with the Ring of Omens and Dark Fluid; if you die or zone with Dark Fluid on the cost for the evade drops to 10% of the normal value i.e. 1.6% of health per evade

They have ring call "Ring of Crisis" which gain 25% shield when you HP drop below 25% last 10s, it active whatever your hp drop 25%, i seem someone use it and don't know it will have any benefit on build your using.
For the hard-core part, after you do it, are you able to buy that ring on any other character? Or does this build basically mean you need to make a hard-core character? And use that character for the build?

@@XBossLuffyX It's still bugged. I got the ring, but my friend didn't. He tried getting it solo at first but didn't get any rewards. So I joined him on hc veteran from scratch, we cleared all dungeons and boss fights in Yaesha before going to the labyrinth. After we finished the sentinel boss, the ring became available to purchase at Reggie's in my own non-hardcore playthrough, sadly my friend still didn't get any rewards.
@Bacons134 luckily we didn't have any issues, we both made a hard-core character cleared the labyrinth and check if Reggie had the ring, switched to our non hard-core mains and checked Reggie (we both got it on our non hard-core characters)
To bypass the omen’s ring penalty use the consumable that extends your dodge and then take the death pill, it will then have a health consumption of 1.3 although it can get as low as 0.6 with invader that way you can ditch medic for something with more dps while retaining all the defense
I really hope they fix the blood moon door glitch with adventure mode before I beat the game so I don’t have to restart my story to hopefully get the cathedral of omans since that will take a bit if I get unlucky.
How do you get the recharge ammo ring without making a new character? But then if do need to make a new character how do you transfer the ring to another character?
Quite literally, I just put this build together. I finished the labyrinth sentinel on hardcore about an hour ago and to get the provisioner ring, which was the last piece. The build is fun as hell and has near continuous mod usage with some serious survivability. I'm about to step up the difficulty and create a new campaign. Thanks for sharing this build.
This sounds amazing but I'm very skeptical of collecting this armor not because of this video but I don't want to keep on beating a dead horse this sounds like something that they would do to this build
If you buy fragments in apocolypse they are higher quality. I got my fragments to mythic or flawless +4. Trying to get mythic grey health rate. Guessing mythic is 15%. But i have flawless+4 at 13.973%. It makes my health go righr back up. Combined with the trait.
does the invader trait helps with the mist dodge ? or its point less because i want my build to be invader / medic with bleed weapon from that ravager boss and the assassin dagger for more bleed I’m not gonna use any shield because I’m gonna choose the melee bleed ring those two ring that regenerates hp and the last one is omen ring for mist dodge and the amulet is ravager marl for bleed build what do you think do you recommend me to use mist dodge on that bleed build or the regular dodge i didn’t test that build just made it in my mind because now I’m trying to max out all the classes in this game then i will do and test that bleed build please man tell me what do you think do i use mist dodge or regular dodge and you used fitness trait does it helps with mist dodge i thought it would be pointless by the way what a cool build you did I’m trying my best on my build to make it in apocalypse
not sure about fitness with the misty step. As far as misty step with a bleed build, it could be good, but misty step sometimes causes delays in melee attacks (unless you are using fist weapons). I would also make sure you have some sort of lifesteal if you are going to use Misty Step, as it compensates for losing health when dodging.

BTW the Glutton Trait? It will only unlock for the person "Rezzing" the other person ... I had to do it myself to my bf so I could unlock the Trait.
I don't think your build allowed you to kill the last boss, your skill did.

Im gonna run this with a heavy focus on mods and mutators to lower my cooldowns on medic shield and thunder god
You could add shield breaker to your melee as it gives u shield
After beating the campaign the armor didn't show up for me. But it did show after rerolling the campaign and leveling up other archetypes.

Also should note for Engineer... spam Tumble, you will not get Sick and reduce the chance of having to run back to get the item or armor.

How about the Bright Steel Ring? Gives the wearer the fastest evade roll regardless of their Armor Encumrance. There is no minus effect.

I don't recommend using Mythic Gray Health over a dmg relic frag. It's not important, sounds like you're maybe overdodging.

does the invader trait helps with the mist dodge ? or its point less because i want my build to be invader / medic with bleed weapon from that ravager boss and the assassin dagger for more bleed I’m not gonna use any shield because I’m gonna choose the melee bleed ring those two ring that regenerates hp and the last one is omen ring for mist dodge and the amulet is ravager marl for bleed build what do you think do you recommend me to use mist dodge on that bleed build or the regular dodge i didn’t test that build just made it in my mind because now I’m trying to max out all the classes in this game then i will do and test that bleed build please man tell me what do you think do i use mist dodge or regular dodge and you used fitness trait does it helps with mist dodge i thought it would be pointless by the way what a cool build you did I’m trying my best on my build to make it in apocalypse
not sure about fitness with the misty step. As far as misty step with a bleed build, it could be good, but misty step sometimes causes delays in melee attacks (unless you are using fist weapons).
I would also make sure you have some sort of lifesteal if you are going to use Misty Step, as it compensates for losing health when dodging.
