- these elevators were modernized by excel and i have to say they did an ok job. the left elevator has door issues on LL and they need to fix that immediately because it appears there are fingerprints on the doors already. the right elevator stops a little bit rough but other than that it’s good. i have to say i miss the old schindlers and these are my favorite elevators in the whole mall.

I got stuck in the old ones I don’t miss them they were dirty and kept on braking
damn that sucks 😭 i’ve never been stuck in any of these elevators before. and also they already turned these elevators back off because they were having so many problems already.
the left car’s lantern lit up in both directions, had no chime and it had door issues on LL. the right car had a hard stop, lantern with chime box issues and a drop going down from level 3. im glad that they realized the elevators had issues and hopefully they will be fixed and up to date very soon.
Oh, it's already modernized wow I'll try to get out there to film these. Also, nice to see you back for real now I remember a few months ago I saw some of your comments on my videos. Yup I also made a comeback to elevators last year.
yeah they were turned on recently. and i may try to upload more of these videos more 👍
it sucks that one of the elevators already has problems but i’m sure it will get fixed soon
oh btw i went back here today. they turned these elevators back off again. this is a sign that they will be fixed soon hopefully.

yeah it was about time these got a mod. i do miss the old schindlers though as they have had plenty of moments.
These use GAL door equipment, and I've been seeing a downfall in operation of these newer operators lately, so I'm not surprised there are door issues.
The mod itself seems nice, but they could've done so much better. They left the entire original PI, and it just looks like a slap-on modernization. Not to mention the fact that both lanterns light up regardless of the direction. Quite disappointing.
As for the original elevators, they were after all Schindler 300A and had issues of their own. They were also not the most vandal resistant, but they have served a good long time, so their time must've came eventually. But I am a bit disappointed in this mod, they really could've done a lot better honestly.
yeah i have to agree this wasn’t the best job. they modernized the bloomingdales parking deck elevator too and they did an amazing job with that one. also they legit had to turn these elevators BACK OFF again because they were running so poorly. hopefully excel fixes these issues soon enough

yea haha i noticed that too. there’s 2 things that need to be fixed with the left elevator.
Ride the Orange parking garage left elevator and press 3 and tell me what happens
