The thing that hurts the long term potential of this game is the lack of communication between WG and us. It’s not National security, it’s a game. There was high hopes with the information they shared with the CC’s, update 7.3 with more player surveys, the announcement they were looking for more CC’s to highlight the game and the “rebranding” with the logo. It’s been months now and we the players haven’t seen anything. The lack of communication with the login bugs is a huge problem. If they were more open about where they are at identifying and fixing the issues and what compensation they are thinking about giving us with the problems, it wouldn’t be perfect but it would be something. I’m in a beta test for a 5v5 mech battle game. It looks somewhat promising. The problem I have is needing a quick mobile game. Blitz is perfect with the 7 minute gameplay. I don’t have to fire up my PC and try to play a 20-30 minute game. I don’t have the time during my busy day.

CCs don't get paid, we get a press account and very little exposure. We should get more. I hope your PC experience is good because I'm never going back. The amount of BS where you are on one flank and a ship on an entirely different flank hits you for your entire health, wasting 10+ minutes of your time or even 5 minutes of sailing to get nuked in 1 salvo is beyond stupid. For me I still believe blitz could increase citadel chance and rate and it would be just fine but the damage done in PC is stupid. I hope it goes well for you. And you aren't being a debby downer. You are being realistic. They are failing some key parts of engaging the community. Mobile games are unique right now. You have more modern devs that are treating mobile like a PC or console lite and respect. But you have old devs that are treating them as cash grabs, only try to get whales and treat them like lesser than other game platforms. But mobile gaming is right now the largest gaming industry right now. It eclipsed PC and console a little while ago. Mobile needs to clean up a bunch before its taken more seriously but really, Blitz is a insanely good mobile game for what it offers. But the devs are really screwing up with its long term life. Golaith AP is nice but don't over use it. Its good but not insane. I view it like Zao AP, just enough pen to really do a lot with good aim. I agree with you. I so oddly love this game and the community. It feels like it doesn't make sense as to why, especially for a mobile game. But I think its the small community with a fun game. The core game is fun. Has been fun for a long time. But that alone can't keep a game afloat forever. It needs to grow and change. And as someone who enjoys this game, we want it to grow and succeed. We want to have it evolve. Its something we see in so many other games. But maybe, just maybe, we are asking too much from a mobile game. Or we have finally hit that wall that everyone eventually does with a game and we need to move on. We have played it out. I for one still enjoy it but I can admit that the lack of interesting events make my valuable time pull me to other games. Games that are evolving, games that have fun events, games that respect their players. As for being a CC, I feel like I'm expected to stay playing till the servers end but I've learned that just makes you jaded and not have fun. Fun is something your community looks for. They enjoy the game enough to watch a video about that game's content. So sometimes its time to move on or its time to take a break or diversify. Nothing is worse than being that youtuber someone remembers watching a bunch years ago only to find them doing the EXACT same thing they were doing years ago. We gotta evolve. I've personally been trying to find ideas to diversify. Blitz won't last forever, nor will my want to make content or play it. I feel you are in a similar situation. Gaming Creators are in a unique situation where we will lose most of our audience when we move games but as we can see, Terry does diversified content and he is doing just fine. Its scary but we need to spread our wings sometimes and check out other things, learn new things or do something new. We have taken a risk in doing what we have done with uploading to youtube and more. We accepted the potential of failure. But we learn more from failure than we do success. Its going to be an interesting coming year for blitz creators in my opinion. We will see if Wargaming can turn things around.
Hey Bob, for me personally, this kind of video is great. Seeing some ships, some goofiness and while you are talking you teach me things about the ships that I did not know. Dont get me wrong. I appreciate every minute you put into video editing to make them more interesting. But I dont need music underlay or cut scenes. Just simple one-takes are good. And of course vids about news in the game ;)
I'm still playing blitz because I'm largely free to play and honestly you don't get a lot of value in free to play mobile games nowadays. Blitz is very good in that regard. the gameplay, gunplay, and collection aspects are engaging and fun and my time in game has been spent as you know collecting the whole French fleet. I hate the bots, I hate the CVS sometimes but sometimes they're kinda derpy like I am when I have to play Beárn for a challenge or mission. my fleet is the best French-language fleet but that's not saying much lmfao. I'm a mediocre player but I get to enjoy a couple scenarios where I dominate like a Galissionere or Mogador game. I think Yoloing is a form of therapy in this game where u get to take out your frustration on the reds in an explosive way and u just know they get salty. this game is overall good and that's why a lot of us are putting in any effort at all! pls wargaming just stop being greedy lol.

I've been playing Marvel Snap, a super nice card game, with amazing graphics, and is Free-To-Play (Paying money only advances you, not give you an advantage over other people.) I've been playing Blitz as well because I feel so invested in it, I'm still climbing tech trees and have yet to get a tier 10. I think the mistake that I've been doing is trying to advance multiple trees at once; The British Battlecruisers, American Carriers, Japanese destroyers (up to Harugumo,) German Destroyers (up to Z-52,) Soviet light Crusers, and both American Cruiser lines as well. I'm enjoying my time, and it doesn't feel horrible to play for me. I get short queues, and I'm enjoying the grind. I only play around 2 hours a day, so it might be that that has kept me interested.
