Never been Porsche fan, but whenever I see these videos of race-specced one, I watch them. That flat-6 they have just sounds so stunning with proper exhaust, like we have here.
I used to feel the same, it was the horrendous 80s Yuppy image that made me hate the very sight of them. But I LOVE the newer water-cooled far more developed and evolved 911s of the last 20 years. What really sold me was the soundtrack of one roaring away from a petrol station, flat 6 screaming at high rpm and volume. Now I realise just how cool and staggeringly capable they are, especially the latest (and possibly greatest with everything turning to a boring EV future) 911 GT3 for its ultra developed NA 4.0ltr 6 pot or the 911 Turbo S for its all weather staggering acceleration. They are small, perfectly proportioned, beautifully engineered sports/supercars and I love them for that. There's nothing else quite like a 911.
How is it possible to not be a Porsche fan? Pretty much whatever you like, they've made it before or they still make it today. Flat-4, Flat-6, V6, V8, hybrid, electric, front engine, mid engine, rear engine, sports car, SUV, sedan, supercar, hypercar, you name it. They have a huge racing pedigree, and they have great R&D, quality control, and attention to detail. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is essentially the fastest car that is feasible to use as a daily driver. They combine driving passion with German engineering like no one else.
@@davekennedy6315 I wouldn't think yuppie if I saw someone flooring a 928 or 911 Turbo back in the 80s. The Cayenne Turbo was and is brutally quick as far as SUVs go. For many years there was nothing that could touch them. They are still a popular choice for camera vehicles when filming chase scenes/hard driving. They have lots of space for crew and equipment, yet they accelerate and handle more like a sports car.
@@joshklaver47 yeah I just have an enormous hatred of SUVs and the people that pointlessly drive them. It was also a huge shame that Porsche went from small, light very fast sports/supercars onto big, bloated and heavy gross SUVs (i also know that the Cayenne has been a massive seller)
I wasnt really a fan of the older F6 sound but recently, I think I like the older lower pitched sound more than modern 911s. It just sounds more aggressive and its LOUD!

Another detuned, tail dragging porsche. Porsche is famous. You don't need to show us. Detuned cars are terrible. Educate yourself on what is poor performance from a great car.

@@joshklaver47 don't mention those crappy SUVs! Porsche during the 80s in the UK at least had a juppie image and EVERYONE hated yuppies.

The best 911 ever made. Period.
How Cool is it to see your own car and driving it yourself. The owner can be proud😊
Made my afternoon
Clearly
So raw, so powerful
Love the sound of a liberated old flat-6
I love that growl when he stamps the throttle. Another fantastic video bozzy.
Thanks a lot!
That flat six sound...👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
What a fantastic machine.
The exhaust sound is simply incredible.
Der Sound ist zum niederknien........
He's really wringing it!!!
Reminds me of an onboard video of someone also balls-out at a wet Bernina hillclimb in an ex-Fangio Jaguar C Type...
What a glorious sound.
Beautiful ! Flat 6 Max ! !
Running 359,9 degree cams judging from the sound 👍😁
Wow... Best bedtime story! Thanks mrBozzy for these excellent vids! Share we shall to those petrol headed friends!
No problem at all!
So beautiful
Top notch!
Super maquina ( brasil)
nice short gears!
That is Peter Revson's IROC 911, right? If my memory serves me right, he drove a red one for most of the Riverside races.
Porsche motors from that era had the best sound, referred to frequently as "rev forever arrogance".
😍

My grandfather had a beautiful caramel brown Carrera (T-Top) too bad he never drove it much and then ended up selling it 🤦🏾♂️
You can keep your Ferrari, lamborghini, even your koenniseg or zonda,i'll take the porsche anytime😊
