Trunk lid should easily open then. Once you're inside the trunk, remove the lock and take it to a locksmith to get a key made. Good luck, Tom

Good luck. Just remember. Its a marathon. Not a race. Been restoring my Catalina for 5+ years now. Drug it out of a field in Austin Texas. Been wrenching on it on and off for a while. Its a great feeling. Have a ball and dont let anyone tell you its a waste of time.
When I was 17 in 1970, my father, who owned two wrecking yards in Mobile, Alabama, gave me a really cherry '68 Satellite Sebring. 383/Torque in green/green/green. It was very clean, and just about as much car as you'd want a crazy 17 year to have. After racing against just about everything with wheels, I announced that I'd be putting headers on the 383 in the next week or two. Next morning I go out to get in it, and it's gone! My father said, "you're riding with me today". When quizzed regarding the whereabouts of my Satellite, he told me he'd sold it. Now, I must admit it would have been a mistake. Since it was a gift, I couldn't really bitch, but it still sucked. No problem, next week I scored a 63 Impala with a 427/TH400 for $600. Couldn't keep rear ends in it, and wasn't smart enough at the time to adapt something more bulletproof. Oh, the folly of youth!
Hey, guys. They have this new invention that helps cut wood -- it's called a chain saw !! Really helps to cut wood faster...just in case you need to do this again !!

You guys are AWESOME! Love the video and the concept!!!! Keep em coming!
When you guys jacked that thing up to air the tires in the back, I thought for sure a snake would be under it!
Hail Guys from Brazil, I realy love u country man, your cars, cities, and sports, in my country, I was played football as Linebacker, and realy I wish to be a car mechanic like u and u brother Thunderhead289' - Stay Heavy and keep u head up man, thanks and congrats for u job!
When you emptied the trunk on the 1970 Plymouth there was a guage mounted to rear passenger side quarter panel?
What's that?
Bless Byron, what a lovely guy
13:57 that's not a MOPAR repair kit--that's a Friday night party in 1971
I wouldn't know, I hadn't been born for another 11 years XD
That was a super slick tree cutting transition there.
Can't wait, theres something that sets you, and Dylan mccool apart from everyone else, and tbh idk what it is, but keep it up lol.
Charles Hilliard because we are average joes - regular job guys
ThunderHead289 you are just country-ass stout. Mean that in a most complimentary way.
Yeah not so much, these two childish men put together are no Dylan McCool.
I will second that the kove speaker is very satisfying to have. I dont use it in my car but it is very loud with quality sound. I would recommend it whoever is interested.
First job, a can of insect spray or 10.
Imagine if he had of stored it in that shed. What a different story that cars condition would have been.
At 19:23 I realized why you couldn't get the trunk opened. Luke put the key in upside down. Old Mopar keys go in teeth up for everything that i can think of. For future reference in case you ever come across another Mopar revival.
Now this is true roadkill and keepn’ it out the cabbage
I could watch these kinds of videos all day. Nice work guys.
It’s funny because next year my school is going to restore a 1968 Superbee
Tramram The First Depends on the district of course, but I’m still in highschool.
@@the_mysterious_gamer1657 your high school have a mechanic club i hear some schools have mechanic shops and warehouses for teach about mechanic and cars
Giancarlo Lugo My school has a shop in house so yeah, I’m pretty lucky.
Giancarlo Lugo Yeah I’m going to have a great time with that. Trying to look for a project of my own, like a ‘69 Firebird.
Good luck. Just remember. Its a marathon. Not a race. Been restoring my Catalina for 5+ years now. Drug it out of a field in Austin Texas. Been wrenching on it on and off for a while. Its a great feeling. Have a ball and dont let anyone tell you its a waste of time.
This series is so good.
I keep watching them over
they have these things called chainsaw they make cutting trees down a bit easier than using the sawzaw
OffroadCanadian full disclosure, we forgot there were so many trees - that wasn’t what we even brought the saws all for!
They need a revival on a chain saw next episode. lol
argonian bilbo we wish there would have been one sitting out there, might of actually tried to fix and use it!!!!
Love this dood. Shout out to reppin your sponsors! Best product placement in the game.
6:57 ... Is it just me, or is it weird seeing a really clean ‘wipe’ transition in a video like this? 😅😂
I absolutely love this channel, just recently found it. Subscribed
Just trying to go slow.....oh this looks like brokeback mountain ! 😂😂 Literally LMAO
June 2022 and still rewatching by far one of my favorite revival series
That transition at 6:56 tho
Love the collaboration videos! You guys always make it interesting
Whats that facebook group called? You said abandoned vehicles in iowa?
Oh, the folly of youth!
mobile? wow! im in jackson, about 60 miles north. ive got a 400/4 speed 70 dart ive had since i was 15 in 2009. still working on it hah!
Waiting for bees to start flying out everywhere haha
Спасибо за видео.
No way this is about a mile from my grandparents farm! I know of some others in the area!
Take yard equipment with you. Chainsaw, String trimmer, And a Leaf blower. Goes along way towards clean up.
whens the other vid out? would like to watch before I die of old age
One video every 2 weeks is not enough. I would love at least 1 video a week, preferably 2.
Im sorry to say that we will all likely be dead before every video in this series gets posted.
You should give us out takes. First time seeing this. I am cracking up at you're cracking up about brokeback mountain! 😂😂😂
Prewarning this episode isnt about the car...rather to men playing with there wood..
Hey, guys. They have this new invention that helps cut wood -- it's called a chain saw !! Really helps to cut wood faster...just in case you need to do this again !!
