The weekend isn’t the weekend without the driveway. The accountability is real if you aren’t there well you’re missing out. Being part of this group has been the best thing that’s ever happened to my mental and physical health.
Java ♥ What he described is exactly how I feel about my dog. She's always there, ready, and willing, and helps me get through those hard days. She's like my overwatch. I couldn't put it into words before, but Jason did it perfectly!
This man is a complete rock star. I started a gear website and just sent me a 200. Bag just on a chance of a guy he didn’t know….I did website for a bit but pivoted to cyber child exploitation unit for work / forensic consulting. I still buy or push his company because it is one of the few true amazing business stories I will always support. Thank you sir!!
Great video. I really enjoyed that it was just the office and garage. A truly underrepresented facet of home tours. I’ve followed GoRuck for years and still use my Shadow bag I bought from Huckberry years ago. It’s nice to see he’s doing well and livin’ his dream.
I enjoyed this video a lot. Jason is a fucking cool dude. Much respect to all who have served our country! 🇺🇸 Just some feedback, though. I don’t think this video fits in with the previous two Huckberry Home videos since we just saw one room and a garage. I want to be clear that I’m not “hating” on the production. Just some honest feedback for consideration.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. We wanted to capture and explore the spaces that were really important to Jason and where he spends a large majority of his time. For some people, a kitchen or living room might be worth highlighting. While hanging out with him for the day, we found those spaces don't have the same impact on him as some other areas we featured. So we didn't force it. As we continue this series, we want each video to be unique to the people we feature. We think it's the people and their experiences that shape their home, and that's where we want to explore. Appreciate the feedback. We'll take that into consideration for future episodes!
@@Huckberryco Thank you! I appreciate the response and a look into the team’s creative thought process. As a Huckberry supporter and customer, I always look forward to the brand’s storytelling, and you all do a terrific job at it. Much love!
I like this bloke. He's genuine. Although this is a good series, I find some of the blokes on it are a bit contrived, a bit 'try hard' and self consciously trying to be 'cool'. With respect, it can seem a bit 'Insta' the way they create and present their lives and living space. Life is messy. Jason, his family and friends are genuinely living life, their house is a reflection of it too. Great stuff!
I bought the original GoRuck 2 compartment bullet ruck back in the day. After realizing the quality, durability and usefulness of it, I just kept buying GoRuck. I have had around 30 packs in my collection over the years. I currently have the GR1, GR2 and kit bag Heritage editions in Navy for my travel kit. My boat bag is an Xpac GR2 in navy. My active shooter bag is a GR1. My portable gym is a Rucker with weight plates, bands and water bladder so I can work out on the road. My wife travels with her Armor grey kit bag and wire dopp, and will be getting the GR1 and 2 when they drop in Armor grey. In the Army, I went through my share of coyote and multicam GR1s and GR2s, but always went back to the original black GR2 my wife bought for me one year for my birthday. It was my first GR2, and has been on 10 (yes, 10) deployments with me. It now serves as my work bag chasing storms as a crane operator. Same bag, lots of deployments, lots of being drug around airports, boats, in the back of digger Derricks, etc, and other than a few visual scuffs, looks like a lightly used pack. They have never failed me, and I will always support GoRuck as a product and as a brand. I love supporting fellow soldiers in their endeavors, but this has surpassed that. They truly make gear you can pass down for generations! Keep up the great work Jason and team!
@@jasonmccarthy3551 Thank you for the response! Since this post, I have added a new 2 compartment Bullet for EDC and the 21L GR1 GRXC2 Samurai, which is going to be my new travel camera bag! You all keep putting out some bangers!!
@@jasonmccarthy3551 So wait, you mean to tell me this guy believes in his mission, created a brand people believe in, opens his home and driveway to everyone and a camera crew, and then replies back to the comments section? There’s a Leader that people follow! Jason, thanks to you and the GoRuck team that helps us be a little better than we were yesterday! Come to DC! We need you to drive a ways to our driveways! Seriously, thanks not just for a great product, but real heart and pride.
Great video! I have been a Goruck fanboy since late 2010. I am sad to see that Goruck is adding a big-ass logo to the rucks now. It's lost its way with the branding. Bigger is not always better, at least that's what I tell my wife.
Only on their Rucker, as far as I know. the GR1, GR2, GR3, M22 and Bullet all still feature a brand-less outer aesthetic with the patch panel. I too, have been a fan of their products for many years. Probably too much so lol! Have a great Veterans day weekend!
an american saying that "we have the best beaches in the world" is answered through a bunch of flags around the house...... he doesnt know nothing about the world! sad!

Hell yeah Justin. Looks like an awesome group to be a part of.
Are you in the video?
Wow, this guy is truly inspiring! In this short video I get the feeling he is a great friend, a great father and a man who loves life!
All of their gear is as high quality as I can find and I am supporting a veteran owned and staffed company.

I love how the dog is just laying there like an old, general overlooking his troops like all right boys let’s get fighting fit !

Glad you enjoyed it! Good to hear the bag is holding up!
Feeling slightly motivated to GoRuck and enjoy a recovery beer...
Good one guys!! Now off to the garage...
Bravo Zulu brother……thanks for bringing us all together. Always appreciate the partnership Huckberry !

Favorite one yet. Going to start doing those Sunday morning driveway workouts!
It’s been the the real deal for me. If you surround yourself with like minded friends good things and good times are sure to follow.
Inspired to crank Smashing Pumpkins and get a garage workout in. Job well done! 👏 🇺🇸

Joe - thank you so much for this note, and your faith in us. Very proud to hear how hard you're using the gear.

Absolutely Amazing!
Chris Reeves makes some serious blades, only makes sense that you badasses get them.
Such a great series and an amazing man👍
No Easy Day .. such a good read.
Monster getting his props!
Really enjoyed this. Inspiring.

GR1 and other EDC rucks are identical branding to how it was when we launched in 2010.
Seeing the BA logos on the Ruckers, I was hoping it wasn't a trend.@@jasonmccarthy3551

Mellon Collie was the first cd I ever bought
Would love to be his neighbor - and join in on the Sunday funday.
Be the neighbor your neighbors need on Sundays. It works :)
great video, great feature!
Seems like you should’ve bought a home on maybe 5-10 acres AIRBORNE
Hillbilly central but a wonderful dog.
I need to organize my garage better
He needs Bud Light for low calories beers.
You had me until the book by Yuval Noah Harari. A WEF troll isn't worth promoting IMO.

Just a little hometown pride, I'm sure. GIven his background, I'm sure he's traveled quite extensively around the world and then some.
Stop being bitter.
Within 30 seconds of the video he states that, given their job and passion, he has travel the world…guess you didn’t see that part
I mean brother you don’t even know how to watch a video. Might hold off throwin stones at infinitely more accomplished and well-travelled folks
