Iceland did something to my soul, such an amazing land. Feeling the land shake from a water fall, being warmed in water from the fires of the earth, and meeting a hearty people who survived for hundreds of years on the edge of human limitation. You understand where we come from and where we belong.
Probably one of the best looking recording studios I've seen in my life. The location is just amazing. Thanks for sharing this amazing location with us
Gorgeous studio and amazing artist-focused ethos. Awesome!! I couldn't help but comment on a joke you made about tape machines-- looks like you're threading the tape path on the wrong sides of the left side roller and dancer arm on the MCI deck. Thread the tape above the metal arm, and then down under the roller. Not just straight between the two elements. Longtime MCI JH24 owner here. Cheers!
That's a ridiculously dreamy studio. Aesthetically awesome. Wonder if they have a sub with those monitors (ATCs I think?), it's quite a big room. Only slight compromise is the asymmetry of the monitoring room, with a lot of reflective surfaces, especially the huge racks of outboard on the left hand side. But, it's very practical. So probably better for recording and mixing, than mastering.

between this show and DIRT, this is my favorite channel on YT
I'm so proud of being a part of this studio build!
Yea David! We appreciate you and the crew at Vintage King 🙏

Guster has been my favorite band since 1999, and it was such a pleasant surprise to see Ryan Miller randomly show up in this.
That place looks like such an amazing spot! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Watching this cozy video on Saturday morning with a coffee besides you just hits different. Great stuff.
Absolutely adorable place by people who really love the art of music and recording ! Simply stunning !!
Very nice looking studio in a wild wild place. Happy future times from the UK. I hope Bjork visits you, she should

Would be an absolute bucket list recording session
Love those 2 retro Stressless chairs next to the fireplace. They don't make those anymore!

What an amazing space!
Loved this video. Such a peaceful place seems like.
Breathtaking Location and Studio.
my favourite quote "this is the only sticker allowed in the place". no free wheelin' rocknroll vibes in this studio.
Cool place and great vid.
Gorgeous place!
That Huckberry quality.

SIIICKKKKKKKKK
So good!
Are you fucking joking my ass?! What a dream!!!
Super cool location but they are one earthquake/Tsunami away from losing that place.
wont the ocean sink the whole house?
hard to do better than The Explorers club But its an amazing place.
Little harder travel to as well. But totally worth it!
How much money did they spend to make this entire recording studio?
Would love to record and spend time here. If you could make the pretentious Richie Rich non-local "locals" leave.
My buddy runs cock a doodle doooo studios in Greenland , real similar to this place by the looks of it.
Must be a Michelin type experience to record there
Such a shame you need to fly up there, otherwise it's the dream place.
A punk band would probably find that environment rather tedious
