Key board player drifted too far from the songs darker modal tonality, he phoned it in. Of course Sheryl’s happy sounding final note is on par with the same break in character, especially when the goal of the rest of the band was very apparent and they succeeded... But other than that, ABSOLUTE RESPECT for the entire performance. Chris just keeps hittin’ em deep. His arrival on the scene is well earned. And I bet I'm not alone in this feeling. How his voice resonates! ! ! ! It is truly a gift from the Creator, along with his ability to create the most beautiful songs like "Won't you let me take it back, Broken Halos, and dozens and dozens of songs like What are you lilstening to? Some remind me of ancient religious hymns. I'm glad I got to hear Chris Stapleton and I hope he has a wonderful life bringing up his young beautiful family and that the Western world keeps it's tradition of the higher spriit in what Christ taught us, to love one another...as he said, as we treat the least of these, we treat him. And thankyou Chris for reflecting that message in your music.
