Hello. Great to see you still have the beautiful Christmas tree up. Stay strong 💪. 🙏. We do know why bad things happen to good people. Just look at Jesus on the cross. There’s our answer. 🙏🙏🙏
Water, Blood and the Spirit At Jesus’s Baptism, On the Cross and the Holy Spirit descends on Jesus at His Baptism. Jesus is the Son of God and He is human and divine. St. John tells us to follow the water, blood and spirit. In the Gospel today, the Leper shows humility and confidence in Jesus’s power. Our faith is our response to God’s grace. These are some of the many Epiphanies of our Lord in the Bible. Thank you Fr. Burke. Buen Camino and Ultreya.🙏❤️🔥🕊️🌿📿👣
Thank-you, Father. I smiled seeing the Christmas tree in the background. I'd be interested to knowing by a "researcher" when people take down the Christmas tree. I suspect that the most popular is the feast of the Epiphany, but a few would take the tree down on 26th December! But some of us were so lazy that we kept the tree in the room darn-near to the Easter!
The latest I've ever taken one down was Valentine's Day. I hate taking down a Christmas tree. I love the lights and decorations our kids and friends made over the years.
Nothing to do with lazy.. just LOVE to see the Christmas lights thru the long dreary winter nights.. so I like to leave decorations up at least until the Presentation of the Christ Child 🙏❣🕊🌹✝️🎄🌠☃️
Father, God here in Ireland .. is revelling Himself in a person called Enoch Burke, a Church of Ireland teacher who wouldn't call a boy by a different pronoun..As a Catholic should we also support his thinking & God's Will be done..🙏
I just attended the inauguration of the new Catholic Church at the baptismal site by the river jordan in Jordan. Pope Francis sent a cardinal to represent him. Jordan is predominantly Muslim but all faiths are free to practice their religions. A representative of King Abdullah in Jordan was there. The land was given to the Christians by the King of Jordan. Visit the place. It is a special experience.
Thank you, Fr. Burke 🙏
