Scorched Earth were one of the very finest bands to emerge from Birmingham during the NWOBHM period in the early 1980's. Their sound consisted of an influential mix of classic rock guitar riffs, acoustic, and blues.

Parts of it do sound very similar to another song of their's, "Tomorrow Never Comes" but still a great track. I got their 4-track EP, but never heard any more, so it's good to hear something else.

I remember hearing this on Friday Rock Show first time round, fantastic. So evocative of that time.

I found the EP in a record shop in Middlesbrough, always felt they should have gone on to bigger things.
