Have fun at the Red Sox’s game! I’m a Guardians supporter. My Gram loved watching baseball, I miss her dearly. I’d sometimes bring over a 6 pack of Coronas and a lime and we’d cheer and her favorite line was “GOOD EYE!”
I'm not usually that interested in Americana/"patriotic" designs for the most part, but Steph's Blackbird Design project from the 'United We Stand' book is SO NICE, I may have to jump in and try it. It is looking really really nice. 🎆🗽🎆

Hey Pam! I have lived in the center of the Midwest (with lakes, rivers, creeks, etc.) all my life so never have been partial to nautical themed anything. In fact I have only seen the ocean a few times in my life. However, that building block stitch you have going on struck me differently than all the other nautical stitches you have done 🙂- can’t wait to see it stitched! Also, I had Parson Brown kitted up for me by Shepherds Needle not too long ago. I hope to get it stitched soon. Love all your stitching! It’s all superb! Finally! I have found out what the pink fabric had stitched on it that has been behind Steph’s head for the whole of spring. Busy Bunnies Beekeeper is now on my to stitch list! Steph, the poor Jack words derive from a story in Irish folklore (look up Stingy Jack) where as a human he was too bad in his deeds to be admitted to heaven. And through a series of events and deals with Satan that went awry he could not even enter hell. He was forced to roam eternally with a turnip head along the crossroads.

#stitchharmony Hello! My name is Christina, I am a middle age lady with a big stitchy stash. I love to do many crafts , but my heart is cross stitch. I am a bit of an introvert but do try and put myself out there. I look for places to crossstitch, a LNS shop in Myrtle Beach is one I have been to but find that they are mostly filled with groups of people that all know eachother , and there is nothing wrong with that but because I’m shy, I just sit and listen and keep stitching away. I would love to met some ladies that are kind of in the same sail boat and would like to meet and enjoy each others company and stitch! I live Youngsville NC near Wake Forest and Raleigh NC. There are no LNS shops in my area, but there sure are a lot of Starbucks and pastry shops around!Hope to hear from you soon!

You ladies always really make my Sunday nights and/or Monday mornings. Just love your sense of humor and all the giggles. I’m a newer CS started in July 2023 so almost a year. 🎉 I would really love to hear more details about Stitch Con, a lot of stitching retreats are so different from paper crafting retreats that I am used to. What makes it so wonderful besides the two of you being there!! 😊 I was a Girl Scout so I know the song well. Went to see if I could find a recording of it. The story behind Jack who could not find Heaven or hell is this: Jack was a scoundrel and so was not allowed into Heaven. He had also tricked the Devil and, the Devil being an unforgiving sort, would not allow Jack into hell but sent Jack on his way with a burning coal to light his path- thus the Jack-O-Lantern was born. 🎃🎃🎃
