This is my first regular flosstube in 2024 - and it feels good to do flosstube in English again :) I hope you will answer the question in my community tab. Tia :) Kind regards, Esther
Nice to have you back. Love your finishes! Who is the designer for Christmas Chaos? My cat was asleep on my lap for most of your flosstube but towards the end she heard your cat and jumped up and ran to the patio door to look for the cat. I am also going to do the Naptime Stitcher's Olympic prompts. My new start tomorrow will be Jardin Prive's Olympic Gnomes piece. Don't know the actual name. Do you stitch in hand or use a hoop? I was wondering if the wooden magnetized frames that I've seen people using for perforated paper kits would work for plastic canvas. But that wouldn't help if holding a hoop or frame hurts. Maybe some kind of stand? But I don't know if they would hold small things. My hand has started to bother me when playing piano and sometimes stitching. I used my birthday money to get a stand. I pick it up on Saturday. Take care and good luck with the new school year. What grade or grades do you teach?
Thank you so very much for your lovely comment 😍 Christmas Chaos was in Just CS Christmas Ornaments 2023. Page 73. The designer is Maria Warmke from The Stitcherhood. Haha, my cats also react to cats on flosstube 😁 I stitch in hand, have always. Using the sewing method means that I don't need to use my thumb (where the arthritis is the worst) but instead can use my index finger or my middlefinger to fold the fabric over. I teach from the 4th until 9th grade (10-16/17 years). Take care. KR Esther
@@SpeedyXStitcher Thanks for reminding I have Christmas Chaos. I had forgotten it was in that magazine. That's a wide range of ages to teach. Probably keeps your job interesting.

I guess you could call my job a lot of things...and I do...from time to time, but it's never boring 😁
