Is it just me or is Stukov's push like, the ONLY ability in the game that can get you nearly that far away from a marked target? I assume the mark wears off pretty quick. Don't get me wrong still useful for shorter chases, just kind of a hilariously over the top example :)
I guess guys with a teleport could probably get away before mark wears off as well.

Really glad Imperius is finally being added, but why is his model so underwhelming? His wings are so epic in Diablo... they look way too tiny here. :(
That's normal. Imperius never had big wings in Diablo universe. Tyrael has bigger wings. Check it out if you want. Watch cinematic that Tyrael and Imperius fight. You'll see there when Tyrael remove his wings.

@@alialibeyoglu7532 Tyrael's wings may be bigger but Imperius still had pretty big wings. The wings he has in HoTS are laughable at best, especially when he's walking. If you look at him in collections they made the wings bigger there than they are in game.

@@gutspillage Actually if you go into try mode on the PTR and use your Hearthstone, at the end of the animation he stretches his wings out to their full extent, and it looks pretty much like what you're imagining (try it yourself). So they actually DID draw the wings large, and it's literally in the game. The reason they're small most of the time is to avoid visual noise.

i think it has to do something with game design like making things less flashy to be easier too see everything clearly during team fights, the devs talked about this in some Q&A about other heroes
Yeah... im not sure why his wings look a bit off. They need to use the wings from his 2nd ulti. They are bigger and have more flare to them. Those should be his wings all the time...

Flying animations don't cost more than walking, and he walked in D3...
They changed the wings. And the walking animation is meant to be like that. It is part of the ''all-mighty warrior'' that he is. Floating does not fit the theme of a warrior/brute.

Tyrael, Malthael, and Auriel have decent wings but those look wonky af.
Maybe it's to foreshadow Imperius's fall to evil? Assuming Blizzard doesn't go out of business, and assuming they still want to make more content for the Diablo franchise, I think the next Diablo sequel or expansion will see Imperius as an antagonist.

Imperius' wings are TERRIBLE. Was it so hard to make them like in the cinematics? The ones you created look more pointy even than Kerrigan's and they are too SMALL. If this hero gets feedback, it will concern the art. Also, when he is moving, the wings look like they hang from somewhere. Please fix this.

I'm just disappointed. They could give him Auriel's wings.
The animations in general lack weight, too. His Q could easily be a really satisfying "impale" thing but when I see it happen it just kinda looks like... doink, you're stunned. There's no sense of momentum.

Mobile games cost very little to develope and maintain. This has nothing to do with immortals, just Activision being greedy fat cats as usual
I dont exactly see what money has to do with the walking animation. Its not more expensive to make him float you know. Plus he doesnt fly in diablo 3.

Kevin also does spotlight voiceovers for Starcraft even though he's not in the Starcraft team, I suppose it will remain the same for HotS.

WOW I just now noticed the spotlight! Been waiting for Imperius SO long and he seems so cool, not sure about balance though, hopefully impale has long enough cooldown.
Heroes team, please take the lead in defending your game from what seems like corporate sabotage from Activation-Blizzard. This game is still loved and you have consistently shown love for this game with your content and creativity. I know there may be little you can do but know that the fans ire is at the greedy actions of the larger company and not on you as a team. Please keep up the good work. I've been waiting for Imperius for a long time.

I've played their games since Diablo 1 and Starcraft, but what they did to fans of this genre is just so unforgivable. And if they do it here, they'll do it elsewhere with their other IPs like Overwatch. If I were an Overwatch pro, I'd seriously rethink my investment. Cause they will cut their pro scene next.

In the D3 animated clip you can see him fighting and teleporting around, so I guess he can get his hands dirty if he wants.

imperius looks a little rushed in his effects and his wings are kinda small
The game is going to die, quick money grab for coming months and then stop the development.
Nah. Hero Development takes 6-8 months, and the model would have been finished quite a while ago - long before the decision reached the development team. They designed the wings that way to keep his silhouette from being too similar to the existing angels in the roster. You can see them expand during certain abilities and when he hearths.
I just un-installed heroes, now I gotta re-install...

Wings are too short guys, otherwise I'm incredibly happy to finally see him in this game.
Would also have been nice to see his flame attack against Diablo made into an ability.
Even the announcer's voice feels less energetic than before.....it is these little details that give away the fact that Blizzard is falling apart.

This hero design fits his character so well!!! He leads the charge of the battle and he is the greatest duelist of the universe (according to Diablo's lore). They even aware that he has a "firey" figure and even add solarion's flare into the kit. Both ults show players exactly how he is as the Archangel of Valor, merciless to the wicked

The wings seem ok to me as they do flourish with certain abilities and they aren't cluttering a lot on the battlefield. His kit seems pretty cool, definitely my style of aggressively engaging your enemy with his abilities. Now his heroics:
Angelic Armaments: I LOVE that this can be turned into a skillshot! Never liked picking an ult for "ok either offense or defense" so this one gives you a bit of both if you're able to utilize it.
Wrath of the Angiris: I LOVE that this is like "Fall from the Sky" for the Crusader/Johana and it combines a grapple to displace an enemy! Seems incredibly fun and another reason for Blizz to have a "Holy Diver" skin for Johana and now Imperius (with ETC comments along with it). :D
As long as the controls don't feel clunky, I think he'll be a lot of fun to play.
