In case you missed the point, if Dre or Em respect you they do that kinda thing for free. It's everybody else that they actually charge for a beat.
Same with features/verses, if Em likes you or respects you on a Hip Hop level, he'll record the verse for free.
Example, Tech N9ne said Em's verse on Speedom should've been an expensive verse but Em respects Tech so much he just gave it to him.
Yeah sure Tech said something about Em said in exchange for his verse he wanted him on a album or another track.. Em respects the greats and the new breed! Aslong as you actually respect the genre.

I don't understand how Dr Dre does not drop any music. Believe me I've been a DRE fan for a long time. But that Compton album was very disappointing. He may think he got some heat in the studio but the fans reaction is your true feedback. All that music he's producing in the studio is just going to waste.

that is high price. I think that he get more on back end of songs then upfront. for example a regular producer might get 10% royalties and a price, where Dr. Dre/Em might get 40-60% back end on the royalties and upfront cost.
