@thegreatestg I think that’s the case with any music with soul and passion. Like I admit I’m more of a rock guy. And when you hear the lyrics and they can mean many different things that make you want to go back and find things again and the same goes with hip-hop. I’m a fan of hip-hop that you can tell when the artist puts their heart and soul into it and that’s what I’ve found from great rappers is you feel like you’ll get one thing and then go back to it and find a completely different perspective on it.
That's any decent or above lyricist lol. Once you're just KNOWN for lyricism, fans will do that. As a huge Wayne fan, his other fan's read WAY too into his shit sometimes haha. I wanna say they overdo it, but as fans, we never know. We're not the spitter. By now you would think he was used to the praise. That's why he is who he is. He could of got a big head like movie stars or one hit wonders after tes but he stayed humble to the craft of hip hop. He is a student and a master at this music. Having him teach you how to rap is probably the greatest gift you can possibly get. All the different and better ways to write bars or freestyle. There actually is a formula to freestyles. Some just let it fly out but the greats stick to the formula they been using from day one. I remember talking to a friend of mine who raps still today and he's always been that guy that could wow a crowd. I asked him one day how do you do that how do you stay on target or not get overwhelmed. He said and in this exact style. When you freestyle don't think just go. Don't worry about the reactions these people want a show or want to be entertained so just do that. I never heard it put that simple before. I freestyled at the next show with him and I tried and tried to keep up. Tried to just rhyme not necessarily looking to get a reaction just wanted to go like he said and I showed myself that if you just do what he said just go don't think it actually works. Kinda shut your brain off and don't get all worried if a crowd isn't accepting you fuck it and fuck them for real. That has to be how he feels everytime he takes the stage.

Just for clarification, the original interview and Hitmaker channel were wrongfully taken down. KXNG Crooked released a video on IG explaining that a bigger company used a clip of the Em interview for news oriented stuff. For some odd reason, UA-cam took it upon themselves that Hitmaker was stealing content and uploading it. This obviously is false and very inappropriate of UA-cam to do. I love Knox Hill very rarely he would miss something. He's really smart and quick to pick up on the rhyme schemes, the double/triple entendre and the meanings behind them with the hip hop culture, history, politics and pop culture. He's one of my top favorite reactors.

I love how they're both just fawning over each other's work. They're both like "bro ur better than me, I can't top ur bars on this song". I think Em is happy, it sounds like he's at a spot in his career where he's still trying to improve, and he seems proud of where he's at lyrically, even though he says he's never happy. I think he says that because he's always chasing better bars, and always feeling like everyone is outdoing him.

The thing thats really impressive to me is the passion that em still has for music. Like when he’s talking normally he still has that stutter a little bit, and he’s kinda awkward about him being complimented. But, the fact that he can spit the whole verse out of nowhere to make a example of certain kind of lyrics, and having been making beats constantly… PURE RESPECT

Em is so underated as a producer. His first few beats sounded a lot like Dre. My beats sounded a lot like my cousins because I learned from him. Then you can hear multiple Styles. He has his own sound now.

I absolutely find this interview very educating knowing how much passion he has for the music we all enjoy and love that makes it so entertaining as well as just hearing Em discusses things as he’s very opened about, knowing it’s a problem for quite a lot of people accepting the fact of him being white and just doing something that has always been a part of him. Like people really made that big of a deal just as they heard others claiming him as king when he sat there saying he never in his life has really ever crowned himself as king of hip-hop, as most rappers that also claim themselves as king in their music.

Artists generally make 20 songs, to press a 12 album CD. They leave a lot because it doesn't meet the flow of the album or anything like that. Look at 2pac, man had almost 200 songs unreleased!
I started listening to Eminem when he came out, I was 10 years old. It wasn’t until I was 18-19 I started picking up the word play. Like I knew alll the words, but didn’t understand and once I did, I started waiting for it and listening for it. I can stillll listen to his first album, and hear something new I didn’t pick up before

@thegreatestg I think that’s the case with any music with soul and passion. Like I admit I’m more of a rock guy. And when you hear the lyrics and they can mean many different things that make you want to go back and find things again and the same goes with hip-hop. I’m a fan of hip-hop that you can tell when the artist puts their heart and soul into it and that’s what I’ve found from great rappers is you feel like you’ll get one thing and then go back to it and find a completely different perspective on it.
That's any decent or above lyricist lol. Once you're just KNOWN for lyricism, fans will do that. As a huge Wayne fan, his other fan's read WAY too into his shit sometimes haha. I wanna say they overdo it, but as fans, we never know. We're not the spitter. By now you would think he was used to the praise. That's why he is who he is. He could of got a big head like movie stars or one hit wonders after tes but he stayed humble to the craft of hip hop. He is a student and a master at this music. Having him teach you how to rap is probably the greatest gift you can possibly get. All the different and better ways to write bars or freestyle. There actually is a formula to freestyles. Some just let it fly out but the greats stick to the formula they been using from day one. I remember talking to a friend of mine who raps still today and he's always been that guy that could wow a crowd. I asked him one day how do you do that how do you stay on target or not get overwhelmed. He said and in this exact style. When you freestyle don't think just go. Don't worry about the reactions these people want a show or want to be entertained so just do that. I never heard it put that simple before. I freestyled at the next show with him and I tried and tried to keep up. Tried to just rhyme not necessarily looking to get a reaction just wanted to go like he said and I showed myself that if you just do what he said just go don't think it actually works. Kinda shut your brain off and don't get all worried if a crowd isn't accepting you fuck it and fuck them for real. That has to be how he feels everytime he takes the stage.

I absolutely find this interview very educating knowing how much passion he has for the music we all enjoy and love that makes it so entertaining as well as just hearing Em discusses things as he’s very opened about, knowing it’s a problem for quite a lot of people accepting the fact of him being white and just doing something that has always been a part of him. I really loved the B side more then the A, which started me wondering...how much insanely classic material Em makes that he never even put on wax!! Artists generally make 20 songs, to press a 12 album CD. They leave a lot because it doesn't meet the flow of the album or anything like that. Look at 2pac, man had almost 200 songs unreleased!
