Very interesting!! Do you also learn Teochew (sub) dialect, Thai Chinese main Chinese, at least in past. Learning materials are fewer, but in US there is on line store, Teochew Store (?)’m You Tube has Teochew modern, folk, opera song styles videos. Also- Teochew language videos feature film videos For history of Teochew, (+!others- Hokkien, Hakka,Cantonese), series by Teacup Chinese.

I think as a native Swedish speaker, and 100% fluent in English, novice is Japanese… this is the first time I’ve ever been able to follow along. The romanization of the Mandarin words and sounds are really well done and make sense. So many times others use roman letters that have nothing to do with the sounds we hear, and it becomes very confusing. I will never be even close to fluent in Mandarin, but I think it’s such pleasant sounding language. Just learning a few words and phrases made me smile.
WOW! I had to find this video again, because after listening to it second time today i realised how many useful phrases are there. It's not too slow as many other videos on youtube. Need more of this.

Excellent dialogues! They are clear and helpful! Some of them could also be recorded in Mandarin and later in English, so they could also be a comprehension exercise.
What I like to do is to write down the sentences in Hanzi , then add the Pinyin and English , but also look up each character in the dictionary and then write a literal translation , then record speaking them and then listen back and compare what I sound like . Learning how to recognise radicals is great to familiarise oneself with how to use the dictionary .
Hen hao! I learnt some Chinese over 40 years ago and this is a good way to help me remember it a bit. A little English and more Chinese is a good method. Some videos have too much English and less Chinese. Tai hao le.
As a matter of fact, it is very difficult for Chinese people to say 我爱你 (I love you) in mother tongue ...... I'm 50+ years old and I've heard these three words almost exclusively in hypocritical TV dramas. We just can't say it, whether it's to our parents, spouses or children. Just say "I love you?" It's just too weird! But in other languages, like English, it's perfectly fine.

If you can shorten the sentences to the maximum of 25 or 30 would be ideal for the learners. They can repeat the learning much easier and more efficient.

How to remember Chinese. It is the same as Bahasa Malay. Every day talk. For Chinese character, start from scratch, Eg For those people don't like to write Using tooth- pick sticks to form 人‘ after that add a small stick 一 to 人 became 大 Add 二 to 人 became天 . Add two small sticks to 大 became头....买卖 灾火🔥火灭灾火土 太犬 头. From 人 ，move two sticks apart became 八入 then bend two sticks became 儿, add a small piece together to form 又叉 又. Using Google translate. Good question! "nar" is spoken in northern part of China while "nali" is in the south. They are both correct. No problem.
