That shit look easy but is the hardest job ever trust me
Anybody who knows this trade...and I do mean the real masons, not the wannabes, know with this kind of job site,You do what you can.Somedays are better then others, somedays you get more help then others. Its rough and it’s all heart that gets you through the day.NOT one person is the best!!!Its a team effort always, sometimes you don’t get the best product, but like a battle, you try,you learn, then if you have to ,you lick your wounds and try again another day .!!!
Can sum1 pls explain what is being done at 7.10 onwards
LOCAL 32 IN THE HOUSE
Come south Florida let’s Baker boys get down with you’ll man you’ll did a good job man
Not one of them would be in my job acing like that
Get'rrr done!
Easy job ..... fast money
why such a weak reinforcement?
CTEnAHbI4 because it's a post tension deck.
Yeah seemed like there's a lack of rebars
PT decks are light in rebar
Do people understand how god damn painful it gets to drag that screet board all day on a 10k sqft pour. It f'ing sucks. Im never doing concrete again. I have a lot of respect for anyone who does.
That's a tough job because your bent over and stooped a lot of the time.
That can be murderous day in and day out.
Homeboy is makin like 60 bucks an hour to flip an elevator switch up and down all day
Tranquility East Coast Fishing how you know
Incredible how strong concrete is. One moment it’s fluid and the other moment it holds a 100+ meter building up.
I poured concrete for almost 8 years. It's one of the toughest jobs out there.
vw gti 2.0t lover one of the shittiest jobs out there
I started out doing manual labor. Whellbarrow, digging, mixing. Hardest work i ever did in my life. Make's a man out of a young punk. I've been going for 3 years strong now im 27 i still have along way to go.
stefone james agreed brother. It definitely made a man of me. I was a young punk and my neighbor put me on some concrete work( forming and Sawing and core cutting and pour back) it made me into a man and I'm also now 27. I live down south in Texas. We don't have any u ions down here so there's a ton of illegal cheap labor being done. Cash operations etc. stay safe my friends. Keep Calm, Pour On!
I guess I'm the only person that says the pump guy did a great job getting that hose through the window without tearing up the place. I've pumped mud for 14 years. Love seeing a gravy day at the office.
Nothing but respect fellas
I'm from Dublin Ireland and I have worked on Concrete Pump's for 20+year's from line pump's to a 63m Putzmister whould love to go over to the USA for a little bit just to see how different thing's are done. And to see if can learn anything new and maybe show you how we do things in IRELAND.
Never thought I would watch this for 11 minutes, but I just did :-) Cut the music for the next one please... Good work though!
Thanks for posting this. Coming from New York City, watching many a high-rise go up, I have always wanted to see the action up on the working deck when the floor slab was being poured. Can't see this from the ground. This video was instructional as to how it's done. It's a labor-intensive process, with skilled workers screeding, floating and troweling. I'll bet those hard workers go home tired after a day of pouring. Terrific video!!
Hard job hard workers great satisfaction to know that you were part of building the building!
Beautiful weather for concrete
Pouring concrete at a 7 slump.
2 guys on screed pulling a pile everytime they move. Guys raking the crete fucking suck
I'd love to work like that. Atm im in a concrete factory and that shit is rough, standing there and chopping concrete for 8-10 hrs a day is not really anything for me, but the pay is good atleast :P
In Australia we say rough as guts
And that's how cooperation looks like! Not like in Poland ? Nice work gentelmans 💪💪👊👊
Never seen people stop to cover foot prints. Usually just kick it with your feet while doing it. Great work.
That we call “kick rod’n” it works great and is fast! But when you need a standard method in the industry, you get what you see here, smooth and steady.
Saludos desde Vancouver Canadá 🇨🇦. Hey ahí no conocen la mágic ?
No gym goers there. Just grafters
is it only me, or does anyone else feel that the reinforcement for the floor looks so insufficient
I live out here in Washington and I'm joining this local I start Monday and I'm excited. Watching this videos to have an idea of what to expect
adolfo espinoza how's. It going bud? What local? I'm from tacoma
nik c good man I'm from local 528
adolfo espinoza how’s the job going?
Leaving Cali to go work in Virginia how much do they usually start you off$$?
A good crew is a thing of beauty. Strong work!
Should have put some mariachi music....nice vid!
I live in Florida wish we had big unions lik this.... Hahaha I have been pouring concrete for 12hrs straight 3in slump all day n I find myself watching u guys pour concrete 2 unwined. LoL I guess the saying is true u gotta b a lil crazy 2 do this shit
Bosco Da Pro
Pouring at a 3 sucks, but it's usually what they call for with sidewalk, highway and plant work anymore. I stick with building and trades work as much as possible where they'll allow you to place a 6 or 7 and have an easy day.
Every human has a skill, MUCH LOVE TO these guys putting in work
that guys job is to just operate the elevator. what a boring job
No sleeve or conduit on water lines?? Ok
Local 692 here out of Indiana! Nice work brother and stay safe out there!
Concrete is soooo useful & beautiful! 😍😍
Love concrete work.
Mysely best concrete men .london no .1 concrete finisher
Is this a roof?
There's sooo small rebar quantity
So this music is playing for the guys to enjoy?
Somebody get these guys a Vibr screed already......jesus
Great upload, watched this on my break, loved it!
super stupid= pouring concrete over uninsulated water lines. problem is you turn on the hot water wait for it then come back 30 seconds later to get more hot water and it is cold.
Use your feet to kickback the concrete not your hands lol
Erik The Jerk lol same thing I was thinking
NUCLEAR BUM correct haha I've kicked and pulled wth hands
On a normal slab you would but you see all the crap they're walking on. Pipes, lines rebar that's why they use their hands.
Fuck yeasss I used to work for SAK.. Doing the same for years downtown 💯💯
Bro I'm a painter 👩🎨 in San Francisco Ca local 3
Union brother spread the word, we need cement masons up here
I started Rodbusting today, aha. Crazy shit
The weather in Texas hardens cement real quick
This looks like a completely inefficient way to pour concrete. With the workers constantly walking over the poured concrete, therefore someone has to come along and smooth it. Wouldn't it be easier and quicker to start from one and work backwards.
I tell you something. AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE THE BEST.
Look at that guy with a hose !! Just trowing water like crazy that is awful !
Why column Formwork in place before concreting? Is it no space for storage?
Hope those columns are in the right spot.
These kats operate like a well-oiled machine!
How did you get the boom pump confined in the opening? Why are you using that thing to screed? My screed has a spirit level on the handle. I like how the slabs getting done in sections I can see the forms. If its done in sections it will cure unevenly that's why the colour changes. I don't have a problem with the look of the column timber but I've had a column accident and that shit is leaning. I was doing a course. I suggested that they use a scaffold system on formwork columns.
Aqui Brasil, construção de vocês muito linda perfeita ...
Where’s Jose and Jorge?
amazing video ! inspire me a lot ! I saw the columns contain so many steel reins, but notice that the floor didn't have much steel reins in it. here i have a question: did i miss some procedures or the floor do have less steel rein? the floor seems like 4-5 inch thick.
Proud to be #UNION440!
Dont you guys have to worry about levels?
We do it here in LA basically the same way. 15k sf deck a 24 col on avg a core on a 5 day cycle. Pour at 80 to 100cy per hour poured out in 4 hours. Drop columns and pour those too. We stopped taking the core up ahead for the most part. So we catch that too. Done!done!lets go 50+ stories all day long. Only difference is we work in the sun.
Good job!
I miss the high rise life
Why does he stop screeding to refill the hole of his steps he can keep going and fill them back in with his own feet lol
610 Laborers local in the House Marguerite Concrete we live for this shit Boston Strong
They allow pex in highrises? And yeah no extra conduit for it?
Werk werk werk very nice and and good job 💪👌💙
i m also QA/ QC Engineer in Gulf for Construction Work that’s y i m Asking @
How much does that elevator operator make?
In my experience the concrete should be dryer. With so much water it's not as strong.
The rap song is called One Way, by Bizzle - here's the link ua-cam.com/video/BgyT7sWWeTc/v-deo.html
i think this the best job in the world
no magic screeds in america we have them in dublin and london makes live easy
The Walk behind don't know How to operate the Blade is too high
Lmao dam that straight edge ain’t no joke homie was falling lol
I was a Superintendent, I have seen and walked on alot of Concrete. I can tell you this, This is a excellent flat work crew, I suspect they do it all. The pumper operator 👍 the rakers were Fantastic 👏 the guys on screeds have great eyes 👀 The rakers get serious props because I didn't see more than 3/4" of mud behind the screed. The finishers look top notch as well. Respect boys keep up the good work. Loose that Turner Hivis vest.
This slab looks simple and slow pace and where is all the rebar ?
Why was there all the video? I came here for the music.
Anyone ever got stuck and left his boots in cement?
where the heck is the rebar in that slab? what hold together the concrete? :D cos overtime it will crack up and fall apart without a rebar mesh
Nice vid... but fuck music. Next time let flow the video without music.
That aint shit! Try doing 8,000 ft in 1 day from 2am to 7pm 4 floors
This looks so much fun😂
You boyz like mucho aqua eh !
Im looking for the rebars. Is this a post-tensioning system or sth? Plz express these ambiguities in next vids.
Jajaj a lot brown brothers
So they have to keep polishing the surface until the building is sold? Dang.
The concrete has reached its sitting time after 4hrs that is why they can walk on for power floating.
Why there is no bar fixing on the slab and just pour the concrete on top?who can tell me
Is the concrete poured over a wood deck first? And then the wood removed afterwards?
I think that this is filing concrete for mechanical and electrical equipments. َAre you agree? However its an art work.
thanks for your video.amazing workers.
I pour little job's like driveways and patios but you guy's are the pro's
Good job guys.
didnt need water, guy cant machine ( turn your blades down) way to go hoffman
There is a similar working procedure in Chinese construction work site.
Nothing is greasier than concrete work
CrossKia the finished piece?
I have a question. If someone can answer me, that would be appreciated. Do you have to put
something over the pex water lines sticking out of the concrete Like a sheath of sorts?
Local 630✌🏻
Nice vid. What is the name of the tool that appears at 7:19
That is a trowel machine, it revolutionized how we finish concrete!
