We should all appreciate how much skill is required and how demanding these types of work is . Most people have no clue or couldn’t care less.
والله صحيح يوجد الناس ليس اي خبرة في المجال ويعتدون عليها شكرا
Glasses, gloves, belly chains, good housekeeping......this is what a safe productive job site looks like.
Well done.
This is shit

I appreciate how they are working together and hard working
After seeing this video, I'm reminded of how it was with me (a former iron worker) from 1978 to 1992!
So installing trim bars before header beam is so very smart. Genius. Only to find out stirrups go around them. Bet they had to rework it. I know I've seen it.
Nice wall-spreader and also, Dowel-Protection with candy-cane vertical!
Looks so complicated, how they know what to do, it's really amazing
Kjv [ Psalms 139:14] Man is so fearfully and wonderfully made , don’t we have tendons ...? this right here is the impartation of the wisdom of God in these hard working skilful men IMPECCABLE 🥰🇦🇺
I have no idea what's going on but I saw the whole video and find it very interesting.
I'm an electrician who's worked on 4 hi rise apartment buildings. Was on the slab for 3. Rebar workers(rod-busters) are some strange dudes...but you gotta work with them. On that slab, you gotta work with them staging ther rebar& post tension cable all across the slab, and the guys forming the columns or sheer walls, staircases and elevator shafts.
Damned right, they're a different breed. You've got to be a little crazy to do that job. It looks like bloody hard work.
Man that is some super engineering. Hats off to these fine gentlemen!
Q
Nice Work
Rebar guys are a different breed 😂😂
We’re only human
You mean a different trade. They look human to me.
They ghetto hahaha
@@luism.raposo5138 its a joke dude.
Ikr 😂
5:35 I love how to hoist your rebar you have to attach a pulley to another piece of rebar and wrap that piece of rebar to main stack of rebar 💯
🤣
This is not a professionally recorded/edited video. Video production is a hobby of mine, as I am an architect by profession, and a building energy consultant. I helped model this building in ArchiCAD and with the contractor and subs, we used the BIM process to virtually "build" it and do clash detection prior to and during construction.
The music was added for fun and to add interest.
Newton Energy cool beans.
Thanks!
Gracias!
Work the field over 50 years. nice
If I am an American, I would rather hire both Americans and LEGALLY IMMIGRATED MEXICANS WHO GOT THE SAME SET OF SKILLS AND WORTH ETHIC AS THEIR AMERICAN COUNTERPARTS. Equal pay, equal benefits, equal treatment, no favoritism and no liberal BS. Just plain straight forward COMMON SENSE PLAIN AND SIMPLE!
Wow perfect unbelievably magic built by magical men in usa
I bow to you Saints
Your work expertise is perfect
Wow great dangers and hard work and patience and intelligence
Agreed Lara, but not only in the US were those kind of professionals but here also in nigeria which I am one, although not as good as them but I am not bad either.
Ang Ganda ng pagkadali nyo sir ,i salute to all of you,,good job,,
Dont you get arthritis and hernias with this kind of labor intensive work? These guys are on another level
Al Delgado from heavy weights?
@Hello Al Delgado how are you doing
You fuck up your body all kind of ways . But someone's gotta do it. Pays well and keeps your family well maintained that's for sure . All a sacrifice brother
I use to work in construction but this makes me respect construction workers even more its hard work
Putting rebar is not hardwork, I guess the only hard part is the concrete, but in the US a lot of machinery is used making it simple. I worked in Mexico in the concrete business, now that is what you call hard work. I used to worked in pull construction, and i mean the only hard part was concrete, but other than that easy shit.
@@chudgo081793 Your super ignorant to the obvious fact that being a steel worker is a very hard job. You try carrying around heavy burning hot bars around all day, maybe your opinion will change. I don’t even do steel, in fact I run the electrical systems in buildings just like this in Toronto. Steel workers have to work hard for their pay, and deserve respect. And by the way, 95% of the time concrete is poured in high rise buildings it’s all lifted using a crane, and the swampers will release the concrete, it’s hard work but steel is harder imo.
@@ReelNow LOL. Dude, you don't know what hard work is. You guys live in first world countries, machinery do the hard labor. I used to work in pool construction, my only complain will be the weather, but other than that it was simple, white guys and black guys did not make it their first month of work, just Mexicans, i don't try to be racist or discriminating by any means. In Mexico just digging a hole, guess what shovel and pickaxe, to pour concrete, guess what don't expect a mixer, people have to make it and we are talking tons and more tons of concrete made by hand, mixing gravel and concrete by hand, and carry it in buckets or wheel barrows. When I worked in the pool construction, rebar and framing were the easier steps, no way I would consider that hard.
@@chudgo081793 I bet you don’t know how to use a pair of pliers.
im a steel rebar worker. here in PH they call us Steelman.. working as a steelman is not an easy job.. I also work as Structural Painters, Electricians and I do welding in some occasions. dude im tellin you working in rebars us tough job.
Looks pretty much the same weight in Vancouver lots of extras and integrity
Everytime I see these buildings go up, I am amazed. I think to myself I'd be that new guy running around not knowing what I should be doing next. I guess all that rebar freaks me out a little, it seems like the I-beam constructions are simpler to grasp your head around?
One God name is Jesus Christ is God powerful Holy and Saviour in World. Amen
Everything is in the plans, structural plans and schedule for columns, beams, slab etc. for example in the plans it says that a column label (t-1) goes at certain location, then you go to the columns schedule and find the specs for that type of columns lets say 8"x12" (concrete) and it have 4 vertical rebar "size" #5, and horizontal hoops every 8" #3.

They is a crazy amount of rebar.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing this video!
Thank you!
Useful video but at 6:19, it is not Inbeds for Precast Panels, they are inbeds for a post tension slab. Precast refers to casting the concrete product at a factory and then delivered as opposed to casting it on-site.
Amazing 😁
At the end of each day, all them steel workers turned in their hardhats and went around the corner to a tavern for their own kind. The place was called Re-Bar......

What a dad joke haha 😄
IRONWORKERS not steelworkers. Two different things

Nice looking elevator core
workers who are very experienced in assembling building iron, prioritize safety, success always...
Biz de mühendis yetişmiyor. Bravo çok güzel iş.
Wow galing naman idol 👍
Nice for the organized work site
Sometimes it is a wonder the concrete can make it in and around that much bar . I have had an engineer specify more rod go into a pour than the end slab thickness would accommodate . That was pretty alarming tbh .
ben jarmin we have actually gotten the stinger stuck and had to abandon it!!! Because they speced so much bar

I’m a concrete laborer and we handle rebar all I can say is that any type of construction is not easy but it’s fun when you like like to work hard
Nice job brother 👍🙏
You do not need to install u bars on a uniform cable that only consists of 2 strands. Cages only need to be installed on 3 or more uniform strands.
What is the best way to get a labor construction job in the concrete/rebar/ etc industry?
日向です。建物を作るとき鉄骨で形をすごく大変なお仕事だと思います。地震が起きても丈夫な建物じゃないと僕は思います。あざーす。🏠🏢
Pile dia is large and the cage seems to be very heavy.is it large span bridge or high rise foundation
Look at what all that MAN has created

Для наших регионов подобная вязка и подобные конструкторские мысли не требуются (кроме отдельных регионов - и то, даже там так не делают).
Félicitations mes chères.vou êtes de professionnels.from Sénégal
Why don’t you use the handhelds to tie the rebar?
You dont have ties on your cross bars in the header?
Good job 👍🏼💪👷👷👷
I started iron working since '14 best days of my life I was a connector then switch to re bar got to learn a lot but sadly my back was gotten worse too bad it was a good gig while it lasted ..

Hello. Good job. But only one request. Please provide CCTV. Recordings. For your work s. It's for future reference.
Oh don’t know what you mean.
Everybody: watch the video a like it thats all:
Me: take notes 6 to 8 inch distance between vertical rebar for Columns minimum 4 for a 18 inch by 10 inch column on each side.
3/4-1" rebar to build structure and tension cable to out all across the surface
Must be well tight with metal wire and put some spacer between the floor olank and the rebar.
I learn with this stuff

That's high rise work. Rebar for core wall - Core lift -whatever its name very closed. . Thickness of concrete wall will be around ( 15-20 ) cm but reinforcement bar installed very close (tightly installed) = D10 or D13 - (100 - 150 ) mm. Concrete slump shall be around ( 14 cm ) to easily pour manually (by concrete pump)............It's quite headache at this part.

What are the inclined rebar for? Are they a sort of bracing? At 4:40
Lateral resistance for wind and earthquakes.
Thanks for sharing. a quick yet, but instructive.
Where are the grease caps on the PT tendons???

This is union construction. These jobs have structure, content, meaning, good pay and pensions. I miss the guys I'm retired welder/fitter 33yrs local 23. This is a big playground alot of moving parts. Looks good I miss the guys.
We only missed Tom Cruise running on through the construction site.
What was the reason for that cross bars that were pushed in the column ?
it for elevator ..that's called leakbeam
No lie tho, them bars over that box out should be at a 45°angle .
