Josie, you silly goose. Use the plastic lid contraption to hold the item you are slicing instead of the glove .... or use both to be extra safe. I use mine which allows for different thicknesses by adjusting the plastic sliders on the sides of the blade. Enjoy; HUGELY useful..

After living with a shower which only has the overhead shower and a curved door, its very hard to clean and wash the glass without the handheld part. Maybe it wont be an issue if you have a cleaner but I found it quite hard. Beautiful design in strawtop 2, love the doors in the garden room!

Josie, Your event went soo well!!! I love all the knowledge that everyone got to take back home with them!!! Ok don’t laugh but you can totally use some of that medical wrap to wrap at the bottom of a hand bouquet ;). It’s perfect to keep all the floral stems together and if you wrap that with ribbon, the ribbon will stay on it so well. Gotta love creative minds lol. We have used it all at the wedding venue ;).

Agree about those mandolin shields being useless. Use a fork for the end bit and use it to slide the vege over the slicer. I’ve taken the tip of my finger off a couple of times and it’s painful plus a very bloody mess. 🤦‍♀️

I am a movement queen too, as a long time yoga teacher, I agree that as time goes by, it becomes more and more important to do strength training as well balance and flexibility.
On the mandolin front, I sliced my finger making beet chips LOL. Beet chips are delicious! They become salty and sweet. yum

Josie youbseem to be claiming this you are not a qualified flowerist and your arrangements show this. Please leave this to those that are. Expert Florists work very hard to get were they are today, Stop claiming your an expert at everything your not. It's very off putting.
