Good afternoon Shannon yes Philadelphia is going through a heat wave or second of the summer! I normally love the summer but with temperatures of feels like 105 in Philadelphia where our normal high is 89.90 this is not not a feel like great summer to me know it is way too hot way too early! So it's time for me to take my mind off the heat and put it on yarn art crocheting knitting anything but the heat! I think that would make a beautiful sweater for your husband or for yourself! I definitely think the third time is going to be a charm for your husband's new sweater! The new sweater is going to be amazing! I wish I could start a sweater right now I cannot do it yet but I will be able to one day soon.😂 right now I am working on a hexagon cardigan. That totally makes sense to me you're enjoying it until no longer enjoying it that's how I work on everything

That new yarn is gorgeous! I just want you to know that I finished a sweater today and tried it on in this 100-degree weather. Of course, I had the AC cranked and immediately took the sweater off.
I was roped into going outside and doing yard chores yesterday. With the heat and exertion I was toast the rest of the day. Definitely not putting on anything warm.

@@anotheryarn Oh, no way will you catch me outside in this weather. I walked to the coffee shop this morning at 8 a.m. and it was already in the mid 80s. That's the last time I'm setting foot outside today!

I wasn’t thinking of using a contrast color. My husband asked the same thing.
