    Could the throttle be moved to the right side?

    I think riding through the city with your expensive smartphone on the handlebars is not such a smart idea. Surely it's possible to use the bike without a phone at all? Thanks

      After the initial set-up,there's no need to bother with a smartphone.

    I feel sea sick!! Bit of advice, move into the part/area/function you wish to talk about and remain steady as you talk about it. Simples!

    More like disassemble than folding. 5.9 sec is the world record for Bromptons.

    Nice useful video.
    Shame the bike doesn't fold anywhere near as easily as a Brompton does.

    • @antoflynn2861
      @antoflynn2861 4 роки тому +1

      Yes change the county to North America that's gives you 40 kmh if you chip it to do 50kmh your putting to much pressure on the front hub over heating

    Yeah, so many of these electric bikes are priced for the 1%. The profit margin must be be pretty sweet when they manage to sell them.

      The 1% always buy first... I remember portable CD players at $1000. VCRs cost thousands back in the 1970's. Prices drop as research & development costs are recovered. I don't mind the rich picking up the R&D bill...

      Not always. I am not in the 1% and this is reasonable for me for various reasons. Two being that I don't have kids nor a car. If I purchased this, it would save my commuting expense over time. Just an example.

      I would describe this as merely a comes-apart bike, I think there's a multitude of more desirable options but variety is the spice of life 🤗

    Too expensive. E-bikes need to come down in price before mass adoption can happen.

    you forgot to mention. When you pedal, does it charge the battery?

    • @gocyclesalesdirector4272
      @gocyclesalesdirector4272 6 років тому +7

      Hello John, the Gocycle does not use a regenerative braking system, mostly due to the fact that any charge generated by pedalling involves resistance which would detract from the riding experience. Furthermore, regenerative braking systems don't take into account that on a bike, braking periods are typically short and don't carry enough mass to deliver much in the way of additional charge. And finally, all of this would come at a weight penalty, in contrast to our focus of delivering the lightest of electric bikes. I hope that this helps.

      I was referring to the pedaling mechanism. More you physically pedal, it will charge the battery. is that an option on your products?

    • @gocyclesalesdirector4272
      @gocyclesalesdirector4272 6 років тому +1

      Hello John, the problem with generating power through pedalling is that you need some sort of dynamo system that creates resistance and detracts from the smooth pedalling you currently get on the Gocycle. It also adds weight to the product. Therefore, at this point we won't include anything like this on the Gocycle, but of course we are always looking at the advancements being made in electrical generation and recovery systems.

      They started doing that on some talk shows / tv also. It's really weird. =( Supposed to keep your attention instead of a static frame. ;-)

    10:15 It lost me right there. Dogs pee on bike racks in NYC. And most racks are full with delivery bikes. I prefer something I can ride and then take indoors with me. At the time of this comment, it's the Immotor Go.

      That's heavy. And at 8:08 it doesn't look "compact and easy to fold." There's tire removal, etc. It's not for me but it's popular enough that it works for some and that's cool.

    I saw nothing too much on this bike and does not justify the absurd price. In my opinion it's an ugly bike; doesn't seem light enough for the price; It has no headlights; It is difficult to fold and especially should have tires with Kvlar protection; in case of a hole where will i fix the crap?

    Electric Bike Reports, read the comments, how come you come a different conclusion to everyone else, £2500 for this and the top model of this bike which is the one you want is £4800 and £250 for a rack and another £150 for a pannier bag, you see where I'm going with this, nowhere on this bike, 20mph for about 2 hours ! . . . . get a taxi to costa coffee to meet the hipster fashanistas instead of looking for the Allen key, this bike is way off what anyone actually wants,
