It's 100 percent a Polin song. The song's lyrics "I don't want you like a best friend" which is totally Penelope to Colin because she has always been in love with Colin and although she appreciated and cherished their friendship, she has always wanted to be more than friends. When someone says they don't want to be something, it's because they are that something. So the lyrics mean this song is for two friends. Where the female isn't wanting to be just friends anymore. She wants to be more. Kanthony have never been friends. They were always feeling their romantic feelings and fighting those feelings (in the show with a temporary possibility of becoming brother & sister in law due to his engagement with Edwina) There was no friendship period at all, they had romantic feelings right away and then got together when they stopped fighting their feelings.

@@gloriathebooklover8693 Couldn't agree more, and it emphasized how Pen dreaded her citrus dress, so in S3 we'll see her in much more pleasing colors. And we know what's gonna happen with the carriage and mirror scene, so there's that steamy scene and doing it with your best friend that you do not want to be just your best friend
