Honestly... I can't find the words... I read all the books and this one is one of my favorites. I loved their chemistry! So much... And Colin? When did this little boy become so charming man? Watching Colin finally realize how much he loves this girl (and how lovable she is) was so enjoyable... The carriage scene is every woman's dream, right ladies? It's sad that these days you can only see this kind of romantic confession on the screen, which I think we need anyway... At the same time, I eagerly await the continuation... How about you?

YES. I noticed the subtle decision-making nod as well. Brilliantly done by Luke Newton.
This song choice is pretty strong and speaks truly about these two. The hardest trope to actually ever pull off is friends to lovers and I think these 2 did it with the best intentions... knowing someone for years and daring to cross that boundary with them and both parties not only praying that the other feels the same but neither party regrets the decision either. It's a HUGE step to break down the friendship wall and solidly create relationship.
With Colin being the way he was during this season, being someone who he thinks society wants him to be... but Lady WD/Pen calling him out because she knows the true Colin, speaks volumes with how well she truly knows him.

You're right. I also think that taking such a big risk in a friendship has always been the most difficult task... Colin's hesitation is completely understandable. And I really like that he didn't manage to tell her how he feels about Pen at first. He is afraid that he will lose both their friendship and the girl too, it's not just about what other people think. Because when he almost told her how he felt about Pen, he didn't care how many people saw them together... It's wonderful to watch the bond between them grow stronger and stronger...
I am very curious how Colin will experience it when it turns out that she is Lady WD...

I love the part where Colin sees the rope coming loose and he sees that Pen is near it and that it will likely hit her in the head or something and he tries to save her but I think that it's Lord Debling that saves her instead of Colin

Penelope does acknowledge that she was saved by Colin in reality the way she looks at him. And I know colin knows it when she looks at him back

@@buttercupup3687actually they didn’t even show Pen looking at Colin’s arms to get distracted 😂 she just got clumsy and fell cuz there was a picnic setup right by where they were standing which wasn’t there before😅 I was hoping for a slow-mo scene where she is trying to ignore Colin like how Daphne had with Simone, but they did that when Pen was eating the cupcake and Colin couldnt look away but the scene was too little🤦🏽♀️ I hate that they didn’t focus on these two as much as the other 2 couples in their seasons! Like everything seems rushed up until the last episode cuz for obvious reason keeping us hooked😅
@@h.dungore839 I know, they didn’t do a zoom in or anything but she was just kinda standing there watching while Lord Debling and Cresida ran off for a bit before she tripped, it could have been shock that froze her in place but I like to think she was distracted by Collin’s heroism
