@@dadada486 of course! Maybe lots of Chinese people nowadays don't practice such traditions, but we have all our highest respect and admiration for those who can master these. We all feel like we all should keep some traditions in our daily life as much as possible. However the impact of modern western life style is phenomenonal. Everything needs to be efficient which gives our very little opportunity to pass on the tradition for the majority. So my comment is about to compliment how he can master the skill, But not to devaluate who cannot. Don't miss my point.
I’m a person who loves Chinese culture and is learning Chinese calligraphy too and this video is inspired me to work harder to make them look beautiful.
I like chinese characters a lot, Ive studied them for years. My handwriting with pen pencil chalk is nice but I struggle with brush. Ive studied order the basic strokes and methods. Idk if im just using bad brushes and ink or if its operator error

Nothing is impossible, chinese calligraphy is hardest art I know, but benefits you can earn from are most precious, so hard work daily it's my passion and happiness to do it as much as possible, namaste
Hi Could you provide a link or mention the brush you are using? i'm looking to buy one and i see very cheap ones (~3$) which i afraid will do a bad job since they seem very low quality.

hi, I use hundreds of brushes, all bought in china, or on chinese websites, mainly on Aliexpress, just look at site
Dear Peter, if you say that this is the language of the heart sutra I can only accept your statement. Yet for calligraphy, and also for understanding the meaning of the sutra, I prefer the usual version with the word 'mie' included. Let's put it aside. I looked several times at your writing. It is a fine piece of kaishu.
The passage written here says that the four noble truths don't exist (in an absolute way). But the word 'mie', denoting the third noble truth, is left out. Did Peter Kocak omit it or is it an idiosyncrasy of Chen Du's?
Peter Kocák I prefer this style over cursive and other styles which try to be too artistic and end up looking messy :( I like your wu and dao the most, so perfect.

Oh thank you very much, yes Wu character has many shortness in really great shapes, xiexie
I like the wu we see at the very start (the one most top left) as its very thin and very distinct. I also like your zhi as that's my middle name and is nicely written.
I have no idea what you wrote, but it looks beautiful.
Heart sutra

@@nuttyjunno3154 thank you
Peter Kocák it’s my pleasure
Even a Chinese doesn't realize the meaning of it.
你是外国人啊,吓死我了!我以为你是中国人!这书法写的真好,比很多中国人都好,好很多!
I am native Chinese, but I have to say your writing is artist level! It may take me 100 years to write like this!
Calligraphy is like drawing.... Not everyone will be able to do it well, regardless how long one learn or practice.
I can't believe! You write Chinese letters better than most of the Chinese 👍🏻
Being Chinese has nothing to do with it. Can you even imagine modern Chinese seeing the value to practice this to perfection?
