My sentiments exactly!! I love me some Beyoncé, but this woman is a beast as well and needed an interview where she felt incomparable and seen outside of Destiny’ Child cuz she has made her own lane.😢
We just wanted to hear about Kelly’s life as an individual. Her success as an individual, her ideas as an individual, her music career as an individual . She’s been in the entertainment world for so long as a soloist and there’s so much that even us fans who really pay attention don’t know because she was always interviewed improperly and it was sad because Kelly is always so good at being interviewed ; always willing to express her self honestly and thoughtfully but never asked really great questions about herself her own career and life. Great job Sherri! Now people know that Kelly has been married for 10 years with two sons! She toured in Australia! She post personal videos on instagram, she’s beautiful and funny and she’s starring in a new movie that she approached the role very seriously. I hope this is the beginning of more interviews about “just Kelly”because it’s refreshing getting to know her ❤

I think it was super dope that the whole Kelly interview was just that...the Kelly interview. So many times interviewers think they have to mention Destiny's Child or Beyonce when they talk to Kelly.
