      Jordan Mailata is 6'8" 370lbs.. he's probably the biggest and one of the most powerful athletes in the NFL. It's like the hulk falling on your doorstep.. all the Eagles had to do was polish him up and harness his strength!

      keep in mind the other players were all 18-20 too, this is a competition that was called the holden cup, you can tell by the yellow ball. every nrl club had an u20 team in the competition, but most (90+%) of the players never made it to the nrl. they abolished the competition because it was to much pressure for the kids to be playing in a professional competition where a lot of them wouldn’t make it to the NRL. a couple even committed suicide sadly and there was a lot of mental health issues in the competition from players not making it and not knowing what to do with their life.

      @J G Who said anything about soccer? Soccer is a weak sport because of all the crybabies that play. Every single game all game long there is some little baby falling down on the soft grass and crying . That is pathetic. And the fans are so bored out of their minds they sing stupid annoying songs the whole game. It is only popular because all you need is one ball. Professional wrestlers are much better actors than soccer players.

      he's bigger than everyone else on the pitch it's hilarious to watch. I played high school with a couple guys like that. half my team was football players. I was playing back at 6'2 feet 160 pounds. the forwards on some teams were smaller than me. nothing better than requiring 3 defensive players to tackle one of your guys.

    Hi All,
    A lot of comments on here about Jordan having played ‘Rugby’. Rugby implies Rugby Union, which is NOT what he is playing.
    Those images are of Jordan playing Rugby League, which if you want to shorten it, is referred to as ‘League’.
    Whilst there are similarities, they are two different Games. Rugby League separated from Rugby Union in 1895.
    Cheers! (from Australia)

    im sick of the Eagles project of trying to make him a Tackle. he can play in HB/FB and possibly even Linebacker!

    • @liamh6686
      @liamh6686 4 роки тому +7

      The HB, FB and linebacker position is a higher skill ceiling compared to Tackle and there is a better and faster chance to development him in that position.
      You have to also consider time and money that the Eagles have to put in for players.

    • @drewnickel2423
      @drewnickel2423 3 роки тому +3

      @@chinnychin0135 yea he's looking pretty good out there. He's got really nice technique and awareness. But I feel he needs to figure out how get more nastier and meaner, especially at run blocking. I think that will come with more experience.

    • @drewnickel2423
      @drewnickel2423 3 роки тому +1

      @ktbDashI think he's doing great in pass blocking but in run blocking he needs to be more aggressive. If you notice, they didnt run to his side too much. And theres a reason for it... He's good at realizing who he needs to block and running at them and locking his arms out. His pure size helps create blocking lanes, but he needs to stop playing patty cake and really put some stank on his touches. He had no pancakes or any aggressive blocks. He was winning the pass blocking matchups with his size and good technique, quickness, and awareness. But there were a alot of times he got pushed back on some bull rushes and a few times he fell from being hit hard. I still think he's a doing great and probably better than 80% of other tackles out there. But if he can figure out a way to get a mean streak in him, that will really set his game to the next level.
