Fumbled at least 3 times, and twice gave up blocks that got QB hit. I’m a fan of Hayne and wanted him to be successful but like I said nfl is ruthless. 49ers were worse team in the league at that time so maybe should of let him have more time. He left himself to play rugby for Fiji but he knew the writing was on the wall
USA Rugby League Fan but I just think that thy would be most dominate as they are both strong fast fit and smart as they have both played full back centre and hallback
Joshua Browne ...honestly . He was a lousy running back because he couldn’t learn how to run like a running back . He runs like a world class rugby player. Great on kick returns because he understood how it was done . You need to run like you should be ready for contact , leaning forward about to fall on your face but your power strokes of your stride keep you up . Remember in the nfl if as a running back you average 4 yards a carry you get a contract for 2 million a year or more . Still love his effort and he took it all in stride 🙋♂️
Issue with many of his runs is pad level. He runs very vertical and stands tall instead of lowering his shoulder. He also seems to lack some explosion. Nice balls skills and vision though for the most part. I remember when this guy was the story. Was pulling for him hard.
considering he'd never played the game before signing he was brilliant he should of stuck it out nobody who is new to football do as well as he did with ease his timing is perfect

+Itz Matt450 4:25 Jarryd Haynes does an "innovative move" well it's just the old side step classic rugby move xD
You have to keep in mind he did well in the preseason but he was also playing against others who mostly were trying to make the team as well.
Once the regular season started he then played against the elites which is a different ball game. Wish he had a bit more time and practice he would have been great.
But you also he no experience in the game itself. So his upside would've been crazy.
20 years in jail for rape, not good
If this was an experienced American doing what Hayne did, he would've made the team.
I love when non Aussies say shrimp on the barbey even tho we call them prawns 😂😂. Literally not a single aussie would say that non sarcastically
HOLY HELL WHAT A TRUCK AT 17:33
Jack McNae holy shit
My friend in aussie football thats a weak truck
Why are you Geh? Weak ass rugby player lol that shit was soft, why did he hold back? Should have went full force and dipped his shoulder
@@whyareyougeh5488 it's weak in American football too. that was against a 5'8 3rd stringer who wasn't even going to make the team, stop trying to act like rugby is anywhere above it.
@@Tikii_9 Ahh shut up he got fucked up with pads. And if he had no pads the ref would be screaming for the doctors.
I remember when I first saw Hayne as a youngster in the NRL. I knew straight away this was a kid extraordinaire. His last year in the State of Origin series, in the first match, he was the difference, and it was incredibly tough match - it was soon after that he made his move to leave NRL and it was a shock. But he has that something, the ability to do things that makes you gasp in amazement. If he bring that to NFL successfully, know for sure you Yamkees. you will have a superstar. This guy can make play look like a hypnotic dance.
Yup used to watch him in the NRL and go...wat the f... did he just do!! He ran around and through guys that are superstars themselves and at times made it look easy.
Loved this when the regular season started I remember getting up at 4-5am in the morning just so I could watch him but they didn’t give him enough ball time which really sucked
Fumbled too much. NFL is cutthroat, you make a couple mistakes and your gone
aussiemika1 if I can remember clearly he only fumbled once on his opening game at the top level other than that he should of been given more of a chance in my opinion really had some skill and showed it the whole pre season what he was capable of
Fumbled at least 3 times, and twice gave up blocks that got QB hit. I’m a fan of Hayne and wanted him to be successful but like I said nfl is ruthless. 49ers were worse team in the league at that time so maybe should of let him have more time. He left himself to play rugby for Fiji but he knew the writing was on the wall
lol the guy called "Clutts" fell on his face. Real klutz if you ask me
2018 anyone
PS: imagine latrel Mitchell or Greg Inglis in the NFL they would be so dominate
King Tingz There are many. Josh Dugan, Mary Taupau, Dylan Napa, Burgess, Holmes and even Cam Smith would be an incredible QB. The most is endless.
USA Rugby League Fan but I just think that thy would be most dominate as they are both strong fast fit and smart as they have both played full back centre and hallback
Cam smith is a stretch. Guys like the two named and jason taumalolo and maybe James Roberts
•Nez• tru cause they james Roberts has got really good speed and okay strength and Jason tamololu has so much strength and alright speed
GI would absolutely kill it
How he doesn't make the team I'll never know. He was better then any other running back or special teams player.
Still love his effort and he took it all in stride 🙋♂️
better than any other running back??????? do you even watch the NFL my nigga???
@@adamswetman9273your gay
Issue with many of his runs is pad level. He runs very vertical and stands tall instead of lowering his shoulder. He also seems to lack some explosion. Nice balls skills and vision though for the most part. I remember when this guy was the story. Was pulling for him hard.
considering he'd never played the game before signing he was brilliant he should of stuck it out nobody who is new to football do as well as he did with ease his timing is perfect
He just signed a 14 year contract with long bay
LOL
3 years guaranteed. Hes in the 53.
2:32 he breaking ankles 😂
The silly guy gave this chance away
a Hayne fan from Sydney but a Greenbay fan since Favre. Im excited for the 5th of October.
hes one of the hardest players to tackle in the game, he was one of the best league players
You’re joking right?
21 min of highlights in the preseason and he was moved around positions a lot and used sparingly for large periods.
+Troy Staunton in a game so specialised playing, KR/PR/RB(both rushing and receiving) and covering kicks is ALOT for one person.
+Troy Staunton he knows how to catch because of NRL
He knows how to run because of NRL
And he knows how to tackle(defend) and his one of the best in the NRL
You need all of those skills to play in the NRL which is why he can play a lot of positions
+WeLikeSportz Highlights? Most of these are him getting 5 yard gains. I even saw a few dropped passses
stinger15au no that not a lot Travis Kelce blocks catches receives kick off does defense and will sometimes run and he plays as a bigger dude
WeLikeSportz its funny because a lot of stupid Australians are trying to use this video as proof that rugby is somehow better than football. Not realizing that the guys he’s playing against are the backups backup lol. Some guy was like if football is better than rugby why don’t nfl players go play rugby and dominate... it’s called MONEY! No one cares about that shitty game lol that’s why they can’t afford to pay the players.
Jonah Lomu would have killed this game.
Dee absolutely Bro😂.
RIP the 🐐
@Wait What? look him up
In the right system Haynes could have been an explosive RB, FB. It's too bad things didn't pan out for him in the NFL. He could have made history.
let’s be real, he did this against 2nd and 3rd stringers. this guy was fun to watch sure, but he was so soft while running the ball and had no vision
Linked to here after seeing the Steve Matai hit on Dave Tyrell , just the most brutal form tackle I have ever seen wow
NRL has some really interesting players
This is crazy because before trying out for Frisco he had never played football before. Pretty nuts to think about.
Sad to see him stop playing because he didn’t want to learn a new playbook after management changes.
That was not the case, he wanted to pursue his rugby career to secure a spot in Fiji's sevens squad for Rio in 2016-2017. The 49ers coaches did not pay him too much either.
@@r49y92 hayne was dropped to practice squad. He basically wouldn’t be on the team anymore. And no other teams showed interest and he left back to rugby.
So Jarred Hayne only had 21 mins and 10 seconds play time the whole time he was there.? Really.
He wasn't good enough. He got beat out by several other people on the roster.
Hes really good in Rugby League, Just not NFL standards it seems.
@@lawrencebruan-vy2px To be fair I imagine it's skewed even more so in the other direction. I don't think American football players would be up to the standards of Rugby. I've played both, and it's a recurring theme for American football players to be gassed or get hurt while playing rugby.
@@averywhann8981 if you don’t train and condition yourself for a certain sport you’re going to fail. Football players just jumping into right wing hold up. Hayne didn’t even do that. He worked out gained some muscle and worked on his explosiveness. Dropped his 40 yard dash time from around 4.6-4.7 to 4.5. Hayne didn’t just leave nrl and walk into NFL without conditioning his body for the game
All the shitty comments and its now public knowledge that the girl lied. Poor guy
2020 am still watching this...still a fan of niners outside US..
The Long Bay Convicts still have a heck of an NRL side.
