I’m 63. I think it’s fair to say that our generation has adopted these ladies. The level of respect, affection and respect shown by their fan base reflects the fact that they attract people who know good music when they hear it because we grew up hearing it. You actually said exactly what I was going to say…it’s not a piece of music, it’s a production. And you’re beginning to understand that the next Lovebites song you hear won’t sound like the last one. My guess for the soda… Dr Pepper.

@@criticalhitsbadmisses Educated guess. I’m from the U.K. You have southern US accents and I know DP is more of a southern thing. My favourite too. This is the studio live version of “Inspire”. The band performed their first album live during lockdown as a 3rd anniversary treat for fans. The Ltd edition BluRay fetches $600 (and the band didn’t anticipate the second hand market…they won’t repeat that mistake). The whole set is awesome (Awake Again from Abyss) but this song shows yet another example of how unexpectedly different they can sound, how effortlessly talented they are and is quite an intimate performance.

Frozen Serenade is a masterpiece. In my (subjective) opinion, it is one of the greatest metal songs ever written (even though its half a ballad).
This is my favorite Lovebites song even after Judgement Day was released. Simply due to the fact that every aspect of Lovebites is incorporated into this song. Also, the decision to put the spotlight on Asami during the piano and acoustic guitar part was genius.
It’s mine as well. This song is a masterpiece, and I don’t use that word lightly.

Try Break The Wall. Its confidence, dying and awakening. It is an emotion bender. Whoever had been struggled in life, this one is so related.
There is a strong iron maiden riff as it goes into the 3rd part of the song. Raise some hell next 🤘

They have many different influences so you will hear all bits and pieces of all kinds of bands.🙂🤘🐺
You should not be shy about mentioning their influences. They themselves are open about their influences, from Beethoven and Chopin to Deep Purple and Black Sabbath to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Helloween and Polyphia. As Isaac Newton said, the greatest stand on the shoulders of giants, and there is no shame in that. Where Lovebites are so special, is that they never sound like they are copying. They combine all those influences into something new and modern.

Now, I propose to counteract the effect of this song, that the following be something more "moved" and heavier. Lovebites has a new album and although there is no music video or live performance yet, the official Lovebites channel has the audios of the full album. There are 2 songs in particular that you should listen to next, it is about "Dissonance" or otherwise "Soldier stands solitarily". The first is a brutal piece of Thrash metal, the most brutal Lovebites song to date. The second is the fastest piece by Lovebites with dizzying speed on every note... Remember, both are on the band's official channel.

Hello from Germany! I really hope that your journey with Lovebites will continue. For me, Miyako is the greatest musicianship in metal. guitar, piano and others. She composes great songs and is also a beautiful woman. In June she will release another piano EP with classic rock songs. All-rounder that is second to none!!!

Yep, we are all still in awe with Lovebites despite how many times we have heard and seen them. After each EP and album, the relentless pursuit of perfection never fails from the ladies, from every concert and show it is still the same reaction and sense of disbelief. so long as they remain together year after year it will always be the same. Jaws on the table and in awe. The only one who didn't grow up listening to the music we grew up with is Asami she was an RnB blues type listener and the other ladies are hardcore headbangers that range from the 70s to nowadays music classic hard rock, and heavy metal that they jammed out with their parents so influences and feels of certain bands of the past are incorporated in the Lovebites style metal "Resurrection Metal"

Some choreography from Asami in "A Frozen Serenade". The main occupation of Asami (lead vocals) from the age of 2 until almost 18 years old (about 16 years old) was classical ballet. She is a singing ballerina. She also plays the piano.
I suggest you check out classical music + metal from LOVEBITES. "Revolutionary Etude" by the Great Polish composer F.Chopin & LOVEBITES "Swan Song". These two pieces of music must be watched together. If you check them, then under your reaction I will write about the Etude and the Song🤫. Well more talent on display as if their even needed any more. Miyako does a little piano ( not Swan Song with Chopin Etude intro but still great), Midori show she not just a flash shredder with a gorgeous acoustic guitar touch and Asami gets to show off all that ballet and dance training. Along with Empty Daydream one of their best, if it is not a masterpiece then it is epic and if not then great!!!! You will always be amazed with the illegal talent this band possess.

For me it's their masterpiece with more of a diabolical Haruna on drums
There is one song with very less reactions, maybe cause its very emotinal. "Jouney to the other side" there is a live Version. THe Song was written by Miho in Remember to here Dad who passed out. Its nothing when you are amotinal near the Water. When you see the pain of a young Woman its very hard. But to see here playing the whole song shows that she is a professional Musician on the other side
How many true masterpieces are there in the history of rock? A dozen? I would name “A Day in the Life” by the Beatles; “The End” by the Doors; “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen; “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin; “Layla” by Derek and the Dominoes; the first side of “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd; “Starless” by King Crimson; “Ghost Love Score” by Nightwish… maybe a few more. Few rock groups have ever produced a masterpiece, and some of the greatest never managed it. Lovebites have given us several, and I would put this performance at the top of the list.

I was trying to think who Bo's voice reminded me of for ages until I realised it was the late, great Slim Pickens. If it was safe to do so I'd be asking him to do some lines from Blazing Saddles! Keep going with the Lovebites reactions but you may as well throw away the dice as these ladies only have natural twenties!
The only part of that classic movie I could even begin to quote would be.

Never lose that sense of wonder. I have followed Lovebites almost from their start but still tear up, get goose bumps, watching their performances. A good word to remember is 'relentless' to describe their songs.
After your next Lovebites reaction, have a look at an earlier live performance, so you can ascertain how they have improved. Not that there was anything bad in their debut performances. You really need to react to Edge of the World and Swan Song. Lovebites is Asami lead vocalist and lyricist, Miyako guitar 🎸 piano 🎹 (plays bass and drums 🥁 too) composer and arranger of Lovebites music, Midori guitar 🎸, Haruna drums 🥁 and co founder of Lovebites, Miho original bassist and Co founder, Fami new bassist.
If they remind you of your favourite music you grew up with them that's a good thing as far as I can see, remember when people compare them with or see influence of bands like iron maiden, judas priest, Metallica etc they're being compared to the greats of all time and that's quite a compliment. And these metal goddesses are still fairly new, a few more years and it'll them that others will be compared to. Good reaction and now your journey has begun. LOVEBITES = PERFECTION! I know exactly what band you’re talking about and I agree. Michael Sweet and Oz Fox used to be my favorite guitar duo until I found these ladies. But they are a very close second… And I’ll guess Diet Coke cause that’s what I usually drink 🤘🏻🐺

I think the word "influenced" is a fair enough word. Every band is influenced by someone.
I wonder if the band you were thinking of is Stryper. I'm an old Stryper fan myself and I have all their albums. But in terms of musicianship, Lovebites are a level above them. But to be fair, Lovebites are a level (or three) above the vast majority of metal bands.
