I completely ship Keiichi and Rena. They are just so perfect, and not just that, they have such chemistry! Even when they are fighting each other or together, their chemistry is just burning. I feel nothing between Keiichi and Mion, totally nothing. Keiichi and Rena are meant for each other

Rena just confessed her love to Keiichi-kun!" and Rika, still doing her little ritual dance, switches to her serious voice and responds, "Yeah I heard. And for some reason that really pisses me off!" No one seems to talk about this, but I think it proves Rika has some feelings for Keiichi even if she doesn't fully understand them yet.

Rika probably likes Keiichi too due to the scene after the one shown. Where she said she doesn't like the fact Rena confessed to him. And the fact that Hanyuu even mentioned the confession hints that it's a REAL confession. Reason? Why would Hanyuu make a big deal if it was false feelings. Rena confessed many times to others due to the magatama and she didn't really say anything of significance. So obviously she knew this one was true. She's a god so she can tell if it's true or not. Mion definitely likes him too and it's even confirmed when Hanyuu(Or Rika forgot) said that it's a good thing that Mion didn't hear the confession. besides there are plenty other scenes that show how Rena and Mion shows affectiong towards him. You should of included the scenes afterwards.

I know that being pressured by family duties isn't any easy thing and having your only sister, let alone your twin, being taken away from you is hard too. But if you to ask had to ask me "Who's life is better? Mion's, Rena's, Satoko's, Shion's or Rika's?" I would say Mion without a doubt. Also she isn't the only character who is unjustly killed.

I agree. Personally, I shipped Keiichi with Mion because she actually liked him. I don't think I would like the OVAs because (from what I've heard), it's just about harem and fanservice, unlike the Higurashi masterpiece that I watched. Which brings me to my second point, are the OVAs any good? I watched the first two seasons and I want to watch more.
Higurashi Rei is a good OVA that actually continues the plot. The first and fifth episode are more of the slice of life type episodes, but it's still good. Kira is all fanservice, though I love all things Higurashi so I don't mind. It's funny and entertaining to me. Outbreak is good, it's not fanservicey, it's pretty good quality and brings back the feeling of the first season in a way. Nekogoroshi is okay, not that exciting but not full of fanservice either.
It's actually pretty simple how it would be, Keiichi and Rena without a doubt would be together, but Mion would be there best friend who sticks with them through hardships and supports them. Mion would eventually find someone too, just because it doesn't show them meeting their perfect match does not mean it isn't going to happen. Rena is perfect for Keiichi and Mion is more of a best friend nothing more.

Her sister was sent away, and Mion was only allowed limited contact with Shion (and Mion loved Shion a lot), not to mention the fact that her grandma disapproved of Mion's friendship with Satoko and Satoshi, oh, and also being killed brutally in every world even though Mion never did anything wrong.

Given the multi-alternate universe in Higurashi, there could be an universe where they wind up killing each other for Keiichi.
I like both, but I like Keiichi and Rena more. I dunno, it's hard to decide. Every time I see a video of romance between one of them, I always go like "OMG I LOVE THAT COUPLE!'' to both of them.

@Edefrem For you to say that Mion didn't have a troubled life is pretty dumb. Mion had to deal with her over-bearing grandma and having the weight of being the next Sonozaki head on her shoulders. Her sister was sent away, and Mion was only allowed limited contact with Shion (and Mion loved Shion a lot), not to mention the fact that her grandma disapproved of Mion's friendship with Satoko and Satoshi, oh, and also being killed brutally in every world even though Mion never did anything wrong.
