I have that mug! Minus the writing. I use it every day during the summer. What a blessing to go "shopping" in your own garden!

It’s all looking good Mal. You’re right those onions are champion! We’re they seed or sets? The benefit of removing one or two apples in each bunch is twofold. Firstly it takes pressure off young tree branches and prevents snapping and secondly the apples left will grow bigger and healthier. Have a good week, all the best.

Yes I’m going to certainly keep an eye on the branches Martin also that first apple tree in the video needs a tree stake to support it too! Thanks for dropping by mate and have a good week pal🙏😊🤞

Wow corn 😢 but peppers for the gold 🥳🥳. Great spuds too, see not all bad you have to take the wins where we can. All in all Mal a win for sure harvests were super. Can you get a frame to espalier the fruit trees, after taking off a few fruits? Great update Mal, have an awesome week, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

Brilliant harvest Mal! Those onions are huge. Mine were quite poor compared to last year. Time to try a different variety I think. Thanks for a great video.

Thanks Jenny a generous helping of chicken pellets in June has certainly paid dividends with the onions this year and it’s something I’ll be repeating next year! Here’s hoping you have better luck too when choosing your next variety🤞 Thanks for watching Jenny and have a great week 🙏😊🙏

Regarding the apples, i would take a few off so it takes the weight off the branch mate, you dont want it snapping. Hopefully you will get some cucumbers from your new plants, mine are approx 18" high now so will need potting on and set in their final resting place. Cara are a nice potato, i have never had them chipped before but now i guess i am going to have to try them Those carrots look very nice and tasty. I love Bedfordshire Champions and Ailsa Craigs, your onions look like they are doing great. All in all the garden is looking great and you got to take a good harvest away with you to the barbecue. Catch ya in the next video mate

Normally you would take some small apples off about June when the tree would get rid of excess apple naturally. The apples look quite big now and they don’t look like they need thinning. Also I have a plum tree 4 years old and this year the plums are few and far between. I think the cold and wet spring stopped the flowers from fertilising. 😊

Hi Debbie I’m just going to keep an eye on the branches to make sure they don’t snap under the weight. Yes I’ve been told that plum trees can be temperamental too so I’ll have to be patient with it. Thanks for tuning in again Debbie 🙏😊🙏😊

All looks smashing mal, with the size of your allotment mate how do you cope with the watering in these hot spells.

It’s certainly hard work mate especially as hose pipes can only be used to fill your water butts, you then can only water using a watering can! Keeps me fit I suppose 🤣😊🙏
