12 years ago I played it as my first mecha game. I was really excited about it. Only to have a guy who had hundreds of hours in it in my first game and tell me I sucked and I'd better uninstall it And kill myself. Yeah I like matchmaking that works and peaceful communities of games that don't ruin new players expirace. I bet quality of game was better that community. 😂

It's one of my favorite games I ever worked on - those 3 years were some of the best I've spent in this industry and the community even then was one of hte most passionate and invested communities I've ever worked with. A new game mode was added on the 18th. Capture the flag. Also there's no more having to redirect the launcher to the game file. It's all integrated now.

We are a non-profit community project completely unaffiliated with the Hawken publishers and developers - so we don't have any access to their original account data. We've reduced the grind, increased starting funds and rewards and removed the premium currency - so getting back into it should be easier 🙂
No, this is a completely separate project based on the original 2014 client. We don’t have any information about your DLCs, and we are not affiliated with 505 Games.

These are community restored servers of the original Hawken PC client from 2014. The last one ever built by the original developers before they went bankrupt and PC Hawken multiplayer was shut down in 2018 after they were acquired. But now it is playable again 🙂 hawakening.com/download
Just tried setting this up. The launcher is not download-able any more. Link is broken/dead whatever. The known issues thread on their Discord server lists many game breaking bugs, making this new MP hack/implementation useless.
