That is a no fail cookbook!! My family likes everything I cook from it! I’ve had it for 20 years! Your scones looked great. I will try that recipe this weekend ☕️
Good to hear the family reading the Bible together. Nice fall video. Yes, gingerbread scones are a great tradition for the fall season. Making memories!
At the end of the season I just gut out the pumpkins, cut them into large chunks and roast them. Once the inside is soft I scoop out the flesh and puree it. If you have a food scale I like to freeze my pumpkin in 16 ounce servings (close to what a can of pumpkin would be) and then pull it out all year as needed. It can be time consuming, but always worth it!
Lovely vlog. Regarding pumpkin puree, I used to boil pumpkin , sometimes with a little potato added & mash it with a potato masher, then a fork. I would then freeze them in icecube trays, & heat them in the microwave for homemade baby food/ puree. I love seeing how similar & different food is in other countries. Here, in Australia, Scones, are pronounced Sconns, and they are cut in small rounds, and served cut in half. Your Ginger Scones look delicious!
Speaking of Jennifer Garner, did you watch her recent Architectural Digest house tour? She gave a shoutout to children’s book illustrator Marla Frazee (Seven Silly Eaters!) and it made me love her even more 😄🥰

Have you tried filling your pie pumpkins with a meat mixture and baking them? So yummy! And the kiddos think it's fun eating out of a pumpkin!
I love that idea!! I’ll try that!😍🎃
I buy those same French baguettes from Aldi and I always put them in fridge! They last weeks in there. :)
Good to know! Thank you!!
