It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to toon into one of your videos, and I’m so glad I was able to! It’s been a rough year (honestly, the last 5 years have been tough) because my grandma passed in the spring, and I’ve really missed her. So, my husband scheduled me a “me day” today, and I got my hair done (12 inches off!) had a lunch date with myself, and now watching your video, and it’s been so good for my mental health. Just wanted to say thank you for continuing to share little bits of your life with us, and thanks for being a warm and bright little corner of the internet💕
I have four boys and I will say that keeping it decluttered helps the organization. And I do enjoy the bins and clear containers. It helps the men in my life, including my husband, help me keep stock! They will tell me when we’re running low on anything they can physically see diminish in the container as we go through it. I’ve been able to organize well the way I like and teach my family how to help me out 😂 but everyone is different!
Yeah! I love that we have agency within our own homes to make organization work for us! My kids and hubby would have a very different experience with clear bins so we opt out of most of that stuff! I'm so glad it works for your family🫶🏻

I think it is so awesome as a worship leader that you are trying to learn guitar. My husband used to play guitar at church and struggled with the worship pastor because they did not understand that changing the key they were singing in last minute would mean he had to completely relearn the chords because it’s not just shifting up and down on a keyboard like on a piano. I am sure you are already an amazing worship leader, but learning guitar will definitely be a good thing!!❤

I’m struggling with perinatal depression which is new for me. Trying to lean on the Lord and trust that he will sustain me through parenting and pregnancy.
I love that you’ve made up your mind to master the guitar. So many skills we decide we’re not good at because they don’t come easily. I gave up on sewing in my 20s because of tangles under my needle, but then thanks to UA-cam I learned the skills I needed for this lovely hobby. You’ll bring so much joy with your guitar !

I am so sorry for the challenges y’all have been going through personally, mentally, and physically. I was finally diagnosed with a chronic skin disorder this past week and have had to switch out a lot of items in our home that could flare my condition having to deal with this on top of two other current chronic illnesses has been super frustrating. I just wanted to encourage you and let you know that you’re not alone. Balancing health be it mental or physical with motherhood, work, and any number of roles or responsibilities is a lot. Prayers uplifted for you to feel peace and encouraged through the mental and physical challenges you and your family are facing personally in this season you’re in. 💜❤️🙏

We love our sienna! I used to think it was too much car for us but it’s amazing how kids fill up a space - especially when we go camping or on a road trip.
Meal planning for us is based on what is on sale that week in the store. Like last week, turkeys for 99¢ lb! So this week's meals are based around turkey & leftover hamburger meat. Don't let the grey hair scare you! My father had a beautiful head of silver hair at 55 & by 65 was a gorgeous snowy white! I have his hair coloring & started getting grey hairs early like him. I'm lucky to have dark hair that at my age (64) is turning a beautiful silver grey (it is loved by my hairdresser!) - embrace the grey❤!
I always had the same attitude towards grey hair as you. I'm 46 and there's more grey than there was, but I'm still okay with it, growing old gracefully. 😊

I have also been in a season of life where my house being clean and tidy wasn't being prioritized and it has impacted me more than I would have imagined. It has been hard but I'm trying to slowly build better habits and do more decluttering, etc.
I can totally relate to the house. Currently 10 weeks with our sixth baby and it is very apparent all the things I am unable to do right now. I’m hoping within the month I can catch up.

I'm Jamie and my favorite sandwich is peanut butter with dill pickle slices! Also am a big fan of Factor meals! As a busy mom of two, making lunch for myself to take to school has been a struggle. I used to just resort to getting a student hot lunch. But now with increased student lunch traffic (free lunch available for all students, so it's a good thing!) I didn't want to be slowing down the student line. So nice to just grab a lunch and toss it in my lunch box to take to school!
I plan to let the greys keep moving in, it’s so much harder to keep them hidden than to love them. I think it makes my hair look really interesting (I’m telling myself… 😂)
hi! Well, I have an idea. Would you consider putting a big basket somewhere in the corner of your living room (could be fancy, with a lid so it sort of looks intentional and disguises the mess) and advise your family members to put random things in it instead of other surfaces. I have never tried it myself, it's a new thought, but maybe by doing that the mess would be a bit more manageable. Sending you lots of love and warmth.

I am from CT, so we had a long-distance relationship. We live in the same house that his father grew up in and he grew up. Our boys (37 years old, and our oldest boy is buried in our family cemetery) still reside here. An extended family homestead.
My grandmother has a similar hair color to you. She’s in her late 70s and hardly has any grays! Everyone thinks she colors her hair, but she never has. So you may never cross that bridge!
