  • Opening and closing of the E Clay Shaw Jr drawbridge, also known as the 17th Street Causeway bridge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It has a 55 feet clearance. It was originally named the Brook Memorial Causeway when it opened in 1956.

    Since it was built,it has had more problems than any other bridge anywhere.Would have been cheaper if they built the tunnel instead.

    I wish I would work at this bridge as operator, the bridge I working on is completely different! Big thumbs up to starting UA-camr just like me.
