I remeber being on Celebrity Century back in March of 2002. Century started the battle with her horn, followed by a Carnival ship. Then Explorer of the Seas blew its horn. BATTLE'S OVER!!
In fact I did a cruise last year and it was fantastic. The fact is that I've never seen a ship horn battle. Even the ship that I traveled didin't horn. I don't know why. Maybe next travel I'll hear. THanks for your answer.
