La Colmena to Salto Cristal, Paraguay

Salto Cristal is one of the main attractions in Paraguay for nature lovers. It's a large waterfall where you can swim. The entry is 30,000 Gs per person as of September 2024. The road to get there is well-maintained.

I do not live in La Colmena but i have friends living here. No one has ever mentioned safety issues so i assume it is safe. By safe, i mean aggression, robbery, physical violence.
The only place i heard of not being safe in PY are Juan Caballero (gangs) and Hohenau (robberies). These are feedback from friends, not my own experiences.
