Sometimes it's best a legend with a unique voice covers another legends music since they are no longer with us. No need to compare unless they suck like MGK.
@@slowcrusxxh oh wow never knew that a tribute was someone else singing, MGK just butchered Numb regardless of Original Copy, Tribute, remake, what ever he was going for. Part of a Tribute is to give homage to the original artist, which means people don't change them up.
No one's is. Chester's voice was like Freddie Mercury's. They just had an ability to do things with their voices no one else can match. Sully could've done it justice, if he sang in his natural key.
You can see how much Chester meant to the community. Everyone praised him. No monetary gains, nothing, they just wanted to show respect.
I love how every single person in the audience knew all the lyrics
The true legends everyone knows the words even if they don't think they did
Fucking amazing cover, I've been on a linkin park binge as of late. It's sad that we will never hear Chester's voice again.
Nobody can top Chester but this was a great tribute.
Kurt Cobain has and did but no disrespect to Chester though

@@jesuschristrapedme235 Sorry but no. Chester’s range was just unbelievable. Especially on live.
Layne staley
What's truly haunting is how the only really good sounding tributes are from bands and artist that were around in Linkin Parks era !!!!
Every. Tribute. Sounds. Good.
Don’t forget it.
@@HelloTardis listen to MGK sing numb and say that again
@@OSOKKRONOS Most of them sound good
@@OSOKKRONOS Chester wouldn't talk shit MGK's cover or any cover. Moreover these are tributes, not a competition to see who sounds good and who doesnt

You can see his passion and his loss. A great tribute to a soul we all miss.
Sully is an amazing artist!!
My favorite vocalist giving tribute to my favorite vocalist..
It's a beautiful tribute
This made me cry
In a memory of a Pearl Jam vocal.......Godsmack still rulez ! Not much instruments but every song - a hit !
Rest in peace from Oregon
Sully is so hot! A beautiful cover tribute.
The guy at 1:48 saying "is this like linkin park or something" you should be ashamed! Amazing tribute! rest easy chester!
That could have been meant as a question you know.
@@esbentornhj931 it was a question. It's the fact that he doesn't know lol
2017 was brutal, lots of people I listened to for a long time
Wow your so good and emotional singing it
We will mourn his loss forever he was like a part of this giant family that connected us through the music .......

God! I thought he was Chester.
Havin' to read the lyrics :( Sully....
The lady in the beginning going - ' I know, Chester.
ghost
“Is this like Linkin park or something” 🤦🏽♂️
Yea why?
Kris Mclean somebody in the crowd said it and this person was quoting them.
How can you be at a godsmack show and not recognize a LP song
No one can do it like Chester but good attempt
Not a dry eye in the place
This is my favorite voice, but this singin sounds like cats on a backyard
Okay I’ll say it... His voice wasn’t cut out for this song!

Kinda weird he says the exact same shit Aaron Lewis does in his live performance. Makes me think this was all some record executives idea.
Or they were all friends who talked. All these bands cross cross each others paths
@@cw3598 You wouldn't use the exact same words though. Imo.
Aaron actually recorded with LP before so they were actually friends.
Nice tribute but this dude can’t sing
