We have a 1989 GMC and 1952 Ford (both pickups) and they are are wonderful to work on. I always make the joke I can bring a picnic basket, blanket and spread it around the engine and the family can watch as someone works on the engine. .Plenty of room and wayyyyyyyyy fewer parts. .I also make the joke that new cars practically need the engine taken out to change the oil, lol. Love the old stuff. Personally, this video was a treat for me. If you decide to make a channel about working on your vehicles and possible RV/trailers, whatever, I will definitely subscribe!
I'm advocating that ya'll implement a sequential numbering system for tracking inventory during your 2025 reorganization efforts. It's life changing! 😂 Seriously! It simplified my listing process when I adopted the system. I don't want to jinx myself but I haven't misplaced any items since I started using the sequential system.
You guys are so much fun to watch. Always something different and always relevant. Kayla is my kind of Girl!! It feels like a 100 years ago, I had my own timing light & spark plug gapper. (THAT sure shows my age) My brothers taught me how to fix vehicles, including changing tires, oil changes....etc. etc.... Not anymore. .Too much Crap on them. I'm old and don't want to. LOL.
FYI you should check what you were charged for the return shipping because even though it was shipped with a ground label and a priority box, the post office will charge your account for the overage because it was shipped in a flat rate box
I was coming out of the newsagents and met a friend coming in, she looked at my purchases and stated Oh! Gardening mag for you and Sea Angler for Tam (my husband), nope its my fishing mag and his the gardening!! We all laughed 😅😅😅
I'm 74 years old female and my favorite car to work on was an early 60s Dodge Dart with a slant six engine. As in previous comment, all you needed was a timing light, gapper, oil filter wrench, etc.
I know it’s a pain, but when you feed the birds, only put a couple cups of food in the feeder at a time. It’s better for them if the feeder empties every day and they don’t just sit in it. That way the food stays fresh and doesn’t mold and the other wildlife doesn’t come and snack on it overnight. It’s a way to feed birds but not nocturnal visitors like possums/raccoons. If you WANT to feed other wildlife, just put a bowl on the ground under the bird feeder.
Sorry to hear about your Jeep guy’s. It never fails when everything is going well car breaks down! At least you have 2 other vehicles to drive. Praying all goes well and you fix it 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
The culprit in eating all your birdfeed is probably the squirrels - I have had the same issues - I though originally it was the deer that come up on occasion - was outside having my coffee one morning & found out it was actually the squirrels - they are quiet intelligent & figure out all types of ways to get to the feed...
When WE work on our cars, my husband is the muscle and I am the one who figures out how it can be done. I also yell uncle and call the garage 😅. When you have lived as long as we have you’ve learned a lot over the years. My first car was a bug. Threw a rod. My husband’s first car was a corvair thus he carried a case of oil. My second car was a 641/2 Mustang bought it not knowing it had a cracked block. Found that out after numerous replaced parts on the cooling system. Hubby next car was a 63 corvette coupe. Over fifty five years we have had 2 jeeps, five fords, 2 Dakotas, a Monte Carlo, 4 Toyotas and another Mustang. Thanks for listening. That brought back memories!😊
When was your last oil change? I took my Dodge in for an oil change and the shop over tightened the oil filter cracking the entire unit. The shop denied negligence to my face, but told the extended warranty company that it was from over tightening the oil filter.
If you go to the bearded thrift machine website, they have a contact link where you can send them a message and they are good at answering. UA-cam is hit and miss.
You buy a stellantis-chrysler-jeep you get the cheapest parts and labor you pay and pay and pay for. You want to do what a jeep is supposed to do, you need to replace the entire drive train.
Same. But I have to add that even though it isn't spelled with an 'a' it is pronounced EASTwing. At least that's what I've heard from everyone in construction.

I loved that Kayla was up there working on the jeep. Yes ma'am...... My husband is a mechanic and i have helped with many vehicles. Y'all Rock
Kayla working on the jeep in a Chanel sweatshirt screams BOSSLADY!! You guys are THE BEST!!
I would love to see that other type of content from you! Repairs like this RV stuff all of it sounds interesting!

Love this change of pace video. Always something to do in this business!!

I remember the good old days when there was lots of space under the car's hood. It made working on cars so much easier. Thanks for sharing.
Wanted to hear how much you got for the cards. I like seeing you do different things
Me too!
Love watching you and your sweet wife. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

Jeeps and boats......always needing money.

That is why I will never buy a stupid Jeep or a Subaru

Jeep= Just Empty Every Pocket!
I'm pretty sure they make things hard to remove/replace on purpose. I have an old diesel ⛽️ F350 and a Samurai.... easy to work on
They do take regular repairs but my jeep has been good to me. Currently at 343,000 miles!

Nice camera work, Kayla!!
Take pics b 4 u disassemble engine. Helps w hoses n wires!!!
The only positive thing I can say about a Jeep is they look good.
We all pick a vehicle and hope it is the right choice. Jeep is not.
Hi Kayla and Julian, I saw my stuff you are shipping to me, my great grandkids will love it LOL God bless you both

Enjoyed your video. You are brave to be working on a 2020 vehicle. I miss seeing Joseph sitting on the shelf.

Kayla still got beautiful hands with dirt and oil on them. I think it's time to get a Tahoe.
Soooo cute Kayla helping love you both

Kudos to you guys for trying to fix the Jeep on your own. If I suggested doing this my husband would smack me. Lol
Good morning from snowy Michigan
Ha! You should see the modern cars where you have to take the engine out to change the spark plugs.
Ok once again just woke up. I’m ready to ride 🎉😊
This feels familiar...but I own a '95 YJ so I have to turn wrenches pretty often
Good luck with the Jeep. 😊
Geez I just had the same problem with my jeep. $1200 later it’s fixed
Sorry my point of the above comment was that Kayla and work at everything together.
get a slinky to put on the bird feeder hook. i’ve watched some amazing acrobatics done by squirrels to get into bird feeders, when carrying mail!

Team work makes dream work. Great sales, the hats being returned makes me feel suspicious 🤔. ❤😊
Just wondering if u still have the diet coke directors chair if so how much for it and shipping. Plz let me know when u get a min. Thank you 😊

Valve cover gasket needs replacing? My jeep leaked oil there on top.
A dollar saved is a dollar earned and how expensive mechanics are these days that's around 500 in labor you saved 💪🤑

Agree on Estwing but Kudzu has the best cake 🙂

Those hands Kayla are farmer hands. I've had more farmer hands than manicured ones.😅
Probably a raccoon or a deer eating the bird food
good video
Don’t you ever think about shaving your beard off or trimmed?.
❤
JEEP = J.ust - E.mpty - E.very - P.ocket…😂

@@flipzquad3277 aaah...thanks.

No offense but Jeeps are pretty well known for things always breaking. Lol
Kayla would look beautiful covered in anything. Good luck guys 🤍
You should know better that to buy anything from Chrysler Craporation!
