I always thought the Cadaver photos were because pictures were so expensive that they put off taking their photograph until they suddenly pass away and are forced to take one.
I was going to say Tina's been busy. Photography was often very expensive and the only time it was done was at death so the family could have ONE picture. Oh, edit, cause I forgot. Someone did a "worst sell/loss" of 2024. It would be funny if you did it too.
Dave, you are way off on the postmortem photography. The long exposure times were only an issue in the very early days of photography…around the 1840s to 1850s. By the time postmortem photos were a thing, around the 1880s to 1890s, exposure times were almost instantaneous.
How much listed and unlisted inventory do you carry? I have way too much unlisted inventory rn but hoping to attack that with some upcoming time off. I'm at about 715 active listings and would prefer to by at 1000 at all times for the sales rate/items sold I'd like to have.
I inherited about 500 vintage real black and white photos and have been trying to sell them off…but apparently I’m not listing them correctly? I just want them gone! I have zero space in my apartment…

In Pennsylvania the minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.

That's an urban legend. Speaking as an amateur fashion historian who has looked at thousands of antique photos.
