How to remove the rear fender on a Triumph Bobber and fit a custom tail tidy

- This is how I removed the rear fender on my Triumph Bobber and fitted Kellermann Atto 3 in 1 tail lights with the November Customs light mounts and Motone customs wiring harness. I also used a ClassicBike Raisch side licence plate mount to move the licence plate from the stock mudguard.
I have wanted to fit this tail tidy for my Bobber since I first bought it but was struggling to find the parts that I really liked to tidy up the rear mudguard and finally eliminate the rear fender.
So this is how I did rear fender delete:

2:24 How to remove the rear wheel on the Triumph Bobber so that it is easier to remove the rear fender/ mudguard
03:43 How to remove the rear fender/ mudguard
05:39 How to fit the Motone customs plug and play wiring harness to the Kellermann Attos rear tail light
07:30 How to fit the side licence plate mount and put the rear wheel back on the Triumph Bobber
09:23 How to test the Kellerman Attos on the bobber
10:47 How to change the pulse rate on the Triumph Bobber
11:54 How to refit the battery
12:47 Finally a walkaround of the bobber with the finished rear fender removal without the stock fender and rear light cluster and with my custom tail tidy for the Triumph Bobber.
What are your thoughts on this custom rear fender eliminator?
Hope this video helps. If it does hit like and subscribe.

Looking great fella, those tail light/indicators are wicked
Thanks mate 👍 definitely one of the most satisfying things ive done to it
Great job! Very helpful. Thank you!
Really helpful buddy. Gonna try to connect mine this week.
Thanks! What you going to connect up to it
Great job m8 very informative and a great help on how to do this mod.
Looks so much better than stock. Well done!
Cam l ask what number plate holder your using..hate the big things you can get bit yours looks slick!?
Thanks mate glad you found it useful. Yea same it took me ages to find this side plate mount. The others were either too big or too expensive. Heres the link to the plate holder www.classicbike-raisch.de/en/triumph-lc-from-2016/bodyparts/license-plate-holder-side/2022/sideway-licens-plate-support-swingarm-lc
Nice clear Vid..👍
Thank you 😁
Really helpful video; thank you. Can I check if the battery disconnect is a must before fitting new indicators/tail tidy?
Thanks, I'm glad you found it useful 😁. It was a must for me because I needed to change the stock wiring loom. I also didn't want to risk shorting the battery from any loose live wires touching each other or other parts. I'm no expert so 5 minutes disconnecting the battery was well worth it.
Nice Daytona. I paired my 2020 Bobber TFC with SD 126600-0002.
Nice pair
Like it alot 👌👌👌👌👍 top effort on the video. Liked and subbed
Appreciate it mate. Thanks for the sub
Hi, do you know if it is possible to change the pulse rate for the indicators on the 1200xc scrambler? Thanks . Really liking the the dinky indicators.
Im not sure mate sorry. Id assume it would be the same standard process. Best thing would be to just go try the method i shown in this video and see if the option comes up to do it. I love the attos too I'm thinking the front indicators will need to be done now aswell 💯
The battery cover just pulls off without removing the silver bracket. Great vid though.
Looks great! Unfortunately in Spain we are forced to put something as a mud guard, can be small but something needs to be there. On the other hand, could you tell me the measures of the tyres?
Thanks I'm glad you like it . These are the stock tyres for the bobber which without the rear fender makes them look quite skinny. I can definitely see why most choose to put a wider back wheel on without the fender. What do you think?
@@britishbobberdefinitely looks way wider without it. However I've seen that some people manage to fit a 180 in the stock bike. Is too much but a 170 would look awesome!
Yes I'll have to look into these sizes and see when I can put one on
Definitely need a small fender. @@britishbobber
SWEET 👍✌️😎🇺🇸
Thanks 🤜🏻🤛🏻
If you remove the fender ? wont dirt hit your back while your ride
Thanks for this vid bro, just taken my rear fender off as per your instructions 👌
One question, do you use anything to stop crap going in the battery box and surrounding area please?
Thanks mate glad it was useful. I havent had anything go into the battery box itself up to now. The cover already in place does a pretty good job although the space under the seat gets pretty wet and dirty now. I generally avoid riding it in the wet now it hasnt got that rear mudguard.
@@britishbobber thanks mate, it's pretty hard riding at all when trying to avoid the wet 😞 I'll see how it goes. Thanks again.
Rain/wet road: Delete fender huh, let me shower you. 😁
Haha yea id say it's more than a shower 😢😢
Where did you get the number plate printed in 'portrait ' please? I found somewhere once but can't for the life of me find it now 😂
I got them from eBay. The product i bought says the listing has ended but if you search for this " 5x7 3 row yellow pressed numer plate text" then that will give you a list of sellers to choose from. Let me know how you get on
@@britishbobber thanks, plenty to choose from on there 👍
@@graemeneedham5899 awesome 👌 you will have to share the finished photos
@britishbobber just amassing the bits ready to do it, probably end of march 🤞
This is pretty amazing but as i'm a complete techno idiot is there anyone out there that fits these??
Thanks for the feedback 😀. Appreciate it. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would. Where abouts are you?
@@britishbobber I'm in Grimsby, we do have a few independent bike mechanics around that would probably be able to accommodate me
Yes mate they defo would. Wonder how much they would charge you to it 🤔
@@britishbobber Well when I get to that stage I shall let you know
slick
Thank you
