the way Thomas Rohler threw the javelin is brilliant in Physics point of view : ) he stopped his body by nailing his left leg 45 degree to the ground and transferring nearly all momentum to the javelin.

I remember watching this. When Röhler won it was like, 3am or smth in Germany. I was sobbing in front of the tv lol. I actually am coming from near where he is training - so he is often in local media. He's humble, campaigning for javelin to have its place and be more known with the youth (bc we all know there are sports which are more famous), advocates loudly against doping -- and currently (March 2020) is also one of the many german athletes saying the Olympics need to be postponed, because right now not all athletes can prepare to their best.

It all depends on the day and the throw. He had his best throw ever, while nobody at the Olympics had that before. There are more than enough throwers that can get the 90 Metres. I agree hes the next big thing but give the guy time first. In 6 years we can talk but in 2 years its probably too early for him considering that the 4 throwers in the world elite is able to get over 92 Metres. So nobody should stress out and if he wins it it would be a big surprise (welcoming for india for sure) but certainly with either him throwing over expectations in the next 2 years or the rest underperforming.
