We took my son out of public school for middle school too. It was so scary. We’re really happy with the small private school we picked. Good luck with homeschooling! I don’t have the stamina for it!
Good for you, Ale. I homeschooled my now adult child from sixth through 12th grade, due to very serious ex issues. Not easy, worth the hard work. On the Dean's list all through college, got two business degree's, travels the world, has a super job.

I’ve been teacher for 9 years in a middle school, and there are so many terrible things happening in middle schools that you can’t imagine. That’s why I decide to move to an elementary school because I couldn’t take it anymore. Unfortunately, the principals and administration often look away and don’t take charge of the situation. I believe that moving your son to another school was the best decision you could have made ❤

With all that you do with your children there is absolutely no need to feel any guilt. You know that the experts talk about good enough parenting! You have needs and children have to work around you too. All your boundaries and activities will surely have your children aware that they are very much loved and cared for beautifully. Talk to yourself the way you talk to them - with love 🥰🥰

My daughter was homeschooled all the way up to 11th grade. We used Abeka Academy best decision we made for our daughter. Best of luck
Look into the grant programs through Florida for homeschool. It’s substantial!

Homeschool mom here of 3 boys. No regrets ever . It does get hard some days trying to juggle all of the other responsibilities that a mom has, but it is so worth it. I feel like my kids are safer mentally not going to public school.
Definitely noticing the hard part of juggling it all, but it's not impossible.
Hi! I'm not a mom but I do have a question about homeschooling regarding social stuff. How do they socialize with other kids if they are schooled at home? Just curious because my friends were so important to me at that age however one of my sisters would have probably liked being homeschooled!😄
My sister home schools. There are programs that are hybrid. Also, they can join some co-op or sports.

So my daughter went from a private Christian school to online high school. It was learning curve for her at first on how to navigate and learn. So if he is having a hard time, time and grace is all he needs!

This is going to sound weird but I noticed having an earbud
In (just one) with the kids around made me MORE anxious because I’d be listening to a podcast and they’d run in talking so it was overstimulating. Might try no headphones for a day and see if it helps? I know it sounds weird but it was huge!

I only work weekends so it wouldn’t affect his schooling at all.
Middle school was awful for me. I'm jealous your son gets the option of online school
my kids attend cyber school. Us parents are "learning coaches" not teachers.

My son started high school this year and I had to pull him out and do virtual. It stinks but was definitely a good decision
Never let your son see or hear that. He needs to know you're all-in, that he's not a burden.

Public schools are a mess nowadays, are teaching children abominal so-called "social norms" that are anything but that. By homeschooling, all of that was avoided.

We decided that it was a good idea to homeschool our boys. When they made it to 6 grade, we took them out. It was the best decision!
Also, I LOVE to bake as well and I don't care for cooking either.

Can't handle my kids? Just because I struggle with mental health doesn't mean I can't handle them. I'm not sure if you're a mother, but when it comes to your children you will put anything aside to do what's best for them. Bring a mom doesn't mean you're not allowed to struggle with mental health. There can also be valid reasons for homeschooling. Lastly, if you really have something negative to say, at least say it via DM. Let's be kind to all moms.
